Very knowledgeable and attentive servers. Signature item for me is the Seared Alaskan Halibut. Excellent cook and flavor. The... Chicken Fried Lobster is neat to try but not noteworthy. The Caesar salad is great, lobster mac and cheese is not. So it’s amix of superb dishes and mediocre dishes. Also prices are higher compared to other restaurants of the same quality and style. Service was impeccable and prompt... atmosphere very classy... now the food... wedge salad was delicious.. Shrimp scampi was a... little greasy for me without much flavor I've definitely had better.. blueberry white chocolate bread pudding didn't wow mytaste buds it was just ok for me..every dish looked visually amazing just the taste didn't match..will I eat here?... probablyI'll just order something different... Okay y’all. My lobster and grits was H E A V E N L Y. Angels ascended onto my pallet and I felt the hand of God on my taste... buds. ???? The only dish that I did not agree with was the calamari. Every dish was *chefs kiss* however the calamari had friedLEMONS in it which I thought were squash but they were LEMONS. That was the only part that I truly did not agree with because Idid not mentally prepare myself to eat lemon with rind included. It was ok! The waiting staff was friendly, especially “Otto”, who was very attentive. The food was fresh and well prepared.... Optically appealing when it was served. I just had some issues with some things, like the Calamari had too many fried hotpeppers ????. About 55% hot peppers and 45% (very small) Calamari. So that was a) very spicy ???? and b) very disappointing. So I can not recommend this appetizer! Some other dishes were better. However the main dish was salmon, it still had it’sbones in it. Also not what you normally expect for a fine dining experience. The drinks ???? were okay. Overall I would givethis place 6 points out of 10. The price was as expected higher. Read more
We had the jumbo lump crab cocktail, oysters, the chicken fried lobster with cheesy grits covered in hot sauce and honey, the... seafood salad, mixed seafood platter and seared tuna. The chicken fried lobster was outstanding and everyone should try it. Thefish is flown in fresh daily. The lump crab with horseradish based dipping sauce was tasty, crab cakes were great. Other itemswere very good but just not as good as the aforementioned. The price was a little high for the portions provided but you getwhat you pay for overall. Read more
Food was great, atmosphere was nicer. We didn't have for long to be seated. For drinks we got the Oceaniare 2.0 (blue) and the... sangria, personally prefer the sangria the Oceanaire had a bitter sweet taste to it. For food had the shrimp and grits forappetizer as well as the seafood salad, no doubt seafood salad was the best choice. Forgot the names of the main course but theblackened fish was better. It was absolutely delicious! Fried lobster with cheese grits was AMAZING! My husband had the Chilean sea bass and he LOVED... it. *When I say this was the best seafood I've ever had, I mean it.* The staff was Incredibly nice and tended to all ourneeds. Vanessa was the bartender and our server and I absolutely adored her. I will DEFINITELY come here again the next time Iam in the galleria mall. Read more
We stumbled on this place in our efforts to find a restaurant nearby that wasn’t a chain and that we could still get a... reasonable reservation at. We were skeptical at first because the reviews had it rated lower than similar restaurants. However,we couldn’t have been any more pleased with our decision! We were able to get a reservation for two within an hour of calling.Our waiter Jeremy was amazing! He was attentive, intuitive, and extremely knowledgeable when it came to the menu. The way hedescribed some of the dishes was mouth watering, especially the Seabass, which he sold me on and it was absolutely delicious! Wewere also pleasantly surprised to know that they offered fresh oysters, flown in daily. This is quite a treat in Texas in Julyand they were some of the best oysters I have ever had! We were pleased with every dish we ordered. Probably one of the mostdelicious meals I have eaten, ever! Combine the food with the service and it ranks as one of, if not the best overall restaurantexperience I’ve had. Robert, the restaurant manager stopped us on the way out and we couldn’t help but boast about Jeremyand the absolute superb service he had provided, and he told us it was his first day. We thought he was joking with us, as wewere feeling so privileged to have such a tenured and knowledgeable waiter serving us, but he wasn’t. He explained theirtraining process and said Jeremy had excelled, but that all of the staff have to meet certain levels of training and productknowledge before serving customers. It’s so refreshing to know that a restaurant is really putting forth effort to make ourexperience as customers that much more elevated, and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the overall experience!
