Overall food was ok. The colombia empanada was ok. I prefer the Argentina baked ones. Chicken a milaness was good, it lacked a... sauce to go with it, a tomato sauce would have made it a lot better. Food was plenty for two. The 4 laches cake was ok, theratio of sauce and cake was umbalace and the excessive sauce didn't make for the cake flavor. Read more

I'd love to try new cuisine and this restaurant is on my list. Arepa is not worth all the hype per reviews. I mean it's tasty... but not that good, so you can say "OMG" with your first bite. Service is mediocre considering it's morning and not that busy. Ithink they should improve on the service part because most people complaining about it. Read more

This place is amazing. We had the green plantain appetizer and the number to Arepas with steak. Everybody was so friendly there... but I just can’t stress enough about how good the food is and the salsa also was amazing. Read more

Quaint little place with delicious food. Their menu is extensive with lots to choose from, it took is a minute to decide. We... ended up getting the Chachupa with beef/cheese and Arepas, 1 with chicken/cheese 1 with pork/cheese. The Chachupa was kindasweet but like corn sweet, not pastry sweet. The Arepa was more savory. They have different smoothies to choose from, eitherwater, Milk or ice cream based. The pastelito with Guava and chocolate Gelato were a great ending. Would definitely go again. Read more

The place is great with food great. They are either a bit short staffed or need better management. I didn't have and any issues... but since you have to sit yourself you may not be noticed right away. But not a detractor to come here. I really enjoyedeverything and had great service. Read more

First time to eat here. It came highly recommended. We were looking for a breakfast place like we frequented when we lived in... Spain, with yummy bread and coffee. On that account, Zaguán did not totally disappoint. The vegetable arepa was flavorful anddelicious. The Spanish bread was very close to what we get in Spain, and served in similar fashion. (The café con leche wasmeh, nothing to get excited about, but it was drinkable.) However, the service was really disappointing. Despite there onlybeing a few customers in the place, most of whom had obviously finished their breakfasts, we sat and waited for nearly tenminutes before our order was taken. Our food was prepared and served in a reasonable amount of time. But after that, no oneever checked back to see if everything was OK, or if we needed anything else. And it took another ten minutes to catch ourwaitress' eye to ask for the check. After waiting an additional five minutes for her to come back and take the payment, as wehad observed others do, we just went to the cash register and paid. Maybe they don't have their first team in on Saturdaymorning for breakfast. We'll give it another go on a different day and see what happens. It would be no hardship at all to eatanother of those vegetable arepas.???????? Read more

This place is such a gem. I will be going back many times! Great food and a lot of options. If you want authentic Venezuelan,... Columbian or Argentinean food, this is the place. You MUST get the Tequeños! Best thing I've had all year. I would go therejust for these little cheese sticks. We had the Arepas, Empanadas, Tequeños and cachito. Good prices too. Read more
