Definitely my new favorite spot to come! When steak n shake couldn't make me a half and half milkshake (strawberry banana) we... came over the Bruster's and they made me one even though it isn't on their menu they improvised! Great customer service and theshake was strawberry with vanilla ice cream with chunks of banana, it tasted way better than any milk shake from steak n shake.Love love loved it so much. Read more
*SUPPORT LOCAL* *TIP YOUR SERVERS* The good, the bad, and the ugly. The good : Homemade ice cream, mouth watering taste, this... is as good as ice cream can get and complimented with their friendly service and upbeat attitude makes this the best place intown. Wait times are minimal. The bad : Price, but you really cant complain much on this as the servings are well worth yourmoney, and the fact that the ice cream is made on demand/homemade completely nulls the high cost. The ugly : Honestly the designof the place. On busy days the small location can get packed, if you dont watch what you do youll find yourself stuck in trafficfor a good amount of time. The parking is honestly the only thing i can complain about. Lucky the pharmacy next door has a hugeparking lot that it seems they dont mind sharing with Brusters. As mention, the location/size. They have their dumpsters nearthe area where people eat and while that isnt enough to warrant a complain, the hot summer days where peoples trashed ice creamrots and stinks the area up are surely a point to be made. While their flowers are pretty, the majority attract bees, but im notsure if thats due to the plant nursery next door. It adds a nice view, but at the cost of pesky bugs. Maybe the owners couldswap to flowers that attract birds and butterflies? Just an idea. None the less, dont let this minor nitpick of a review stopyou from visiting brusters. The owners and employees are all great people and while they do hire some highschoolers (please bepatient with new young people, for a lot them this is their first job apart from school and living an american teenage life. Wewere all goofy fun lovin awkward teens in our youth too, no? Cut them some slack once in a while.), for the most part they dotheir work excellently. I greatly appreciate that Bruster's has some vegan flavors that are rotated through. Props for doing that; it includes other... people that would otherwise be left out. The mint-chocolate chip was good, and the young ladies at the counter were very sweet,and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Read more
