This was our first time at Oakwood Cafe. Atmosphere, food, service, easy access parking - everything - gets the 5 stars. We were... at table 44 (I think our waitress was Diane), our coffee cups never emptied, the food was hot and delicious! Great way to startour morning! Read more
When I first moved in town, this was my first dinner out. It is a casual food and casual service restaurant. And it was the... right food at the right price. So I was visiting regularly until, with the inflation situation being what it is, I noticed acompromise in their quality (so that the price would remain low, maybe?). I lost my confidence and have not visited for sometime, but I think it's time to try them out again. Read more
I can?t say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is nice. I ordered the veggie omelette and a side of grilled... chicken? should?ve gotten the lean omelette but non the less amazing. I usually love Oakwood but was very disappointed yesterday. Ordered a plate for pick up and for $14 I got a spoonful of 2 sides... and a small helping of pot roast. The pot roast was pretty good but the squash casserole and corn casserole tasted bland andwell, like hospital food. Definitely not worth $14. Even if the food had been good, there was not much of it.
