Okay so you kind of have to understand what Hot Harry's is to appreciate the food there. This is not Mexican food -- not really... even Tex-Mex. It's a distinctly New England version of Americanized fast food influenced by a few different traditions. You canget a burger here, or a burrito, or a Thai chicken bowl, but none of these will be what you would expect from another restaurantthat specializes in that type of food. Hot Harry's is just...unique. Is the food good? For my wife and me, it's a kind ofconvenient comfort food we turn to when we're exhausted at the end of the day, don't want to cook, and need to grab somereliable takeout. And Hot Harry's is that: reliable. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's consistent. For example, flavors mychange (the pulled pork, one of our favorites, can range from salty to spicy to mildly sweet depending on the day or even timeof day), and portions may change (I almost always get the same combination bowl, for example, and portions can range from ahalf-full bowl to one that is overflowing...or a portion with lots of guacamole to barely a spoonful of guac...depending on whodishes it up). But we know our hunger will be satisfied by whatever we get -- and that's what makes it reliable for us. We havealso been pleasantly surprised on many occasions. My wife is the more adventurous at this establishment, and has has enjoyedtrying different things -- most recently the grilled veggie quesadilla. The only selection that I find difficult to stomach isthe hard shell tacos. Having lived near the Mexican border for many years and travelled through Mexico, I find hard shell tacosto be just the weirdest American fast food culinary invention ever...and pretty inedible. Just visited Hot Harrys...we couldn't get half the menu as we were told the grill/fryers are turned off at 8pm although the... restaurant closes at 9pm. Decided to go to the Pittsfield location who was open with all options. Read more
Step aside Subway. It's time for an honest review. This is my first time eating here and was very impressed. I am currently... eating their Bacon cheeseburger burrito, and this thing is massive! All the flavors marry perfectly. The homemade chips andqueso dip is second to none. Now let's talk about the staff. They were very friendly and really pay attention to detail.Overall, if you're looking for great food done right then Hot Harry's in Dalton is the place for you. Read more
This is my nephew's favorite place to eat. Don't let the outside fool you. The food was good and quick. People working there... were very nice. There were 3 people working which is more than I can say for some restaurants where they make tips. Willdefinitely make another trip here. Read more
All the ingredients are there....just not in this taco. I ate through one taco with half fat and half pork to open up the... second to a little chuck of meat and a lot of fat. Very tasty pulled pork bowl! The employees are very nice, helpful, and polite! I was getting a Pickup order at the Dalton... location, the parking is the least of a problem here than at the other locations, and closest to my house. Whenever I'veordered here it's always clean, the floors look nice, tables are tidy. Read more
