Ice cream is great there lots of flavors. Definitely gets busy. Only bad part is not much to sit on outside and enjoy your... icecream is the only bad part. Just need to add more picnic tables for as busy as it gets. Read more
Yum! Their ice cream and shakes are super good. Thick shakes. Don?t be deterred if the parking lot is full. They are organized... and it moves quick. Staff was really nice and I even saw some dancing. That tells me that the owners must treat their staffwell. Drove by for years and glad we made the decision to finally fry it. Read more

We just moved to the area in November and this is our first season experiencing the dari-ette. I just have to say this is by far... the best ice cream place I've probably been to. The prices are phenomenal, the customer service is exceptional, and the foodtastes amazing. Let's not forget the fact that the ice cream is so yummy! I really wanted to love this place, as a great friend raves about it. Unfortunately I just was not impressed. Pro's - - friendly... staff - lots of line options - outside seating - lots of menu choices to satisfy everyone in the family Cons - - only 2 cheesechoices (American and Swiss) - the Coney sauce tasted a lot like manwich - I had the grilled ham n cheese and the cheese wasextremely thin slices and the ham was ok sliced, but for the price of the sandwich I would definitely have expected thickerslices of both (see photo) - the mozzarella sticks were a great size portion with plenty of cheese at a very reasonableprice...however, whatever oil they fried it gave it a not so great taste and took away from it. I'm not sure if some fish wasfried in it or it was old, but it just had an odd oily taste I couldn't place For the $12 I spent for the above, I definitelyfeel I should have received a better meal. Oh my goodness!!! Try it! Don't think twice! I ordered the peanut butter smth to go, but while I waited, I decided to try a... small superman. Let me tell you something - I got some in my freezer right now! Their ice cream is SO good! I also got a burgerand fries, which were meh. I would've loved crunchy fries, but mine were soggy and soaked in oil. Any which way, I went therefor the ice cream, and that didn't disappoint! I'll definitely return again and again! Read more
