Reviews for Nation's Giant Hamburgers & Great Pies in Daly City, CA

One of the best things about Nations is that they use fresh ground beef for the burgers, and you can SEE them cook. Not like... fast food, and the burgers are precooked and frozen before sending to the location to be cooked (I wouldn't call them "cooks")by the inexperienced and young. Hence the name "fast food," especially when it comes to hamburgers. This location atmosphere, ordining in, is just your typical "sit down and eat while the food is hot" real quick and not your 5 star "dinner date." But it'sgreat for take out 24/7. Read more

Friendly service, good price for a good size breakfast. All items are freshly made. You can't ask for more.

Ordered a wild salmon burger. So so. Pecan pie. Not much pecans and a lot of sugar

Ordered a double cheeseburger with ole (2 sliced peppers), chili cheese fries with onions, a chocolate shake and strawberry... cheesecake. Loved everything except the chili cheese fries. It was sliced cheese that didn’t even melt and chili with beans(hate beans). Other customers were coming in asking for pies that they no longer had available which they were truly upsetwith(meaning the pies are freakin delicious) I love the custard pie and strawberry cheesecake ones. Overall they are fast withservice and prices are i the high end. We spent $66 for 2 complete meals with extra add ons. Read more

Nations burger is under rated. Actually, I feel that Nations offers the best Cheese Burger in the SF. Bay Area. The fries... however should be revamped. The pies are awesome and you will be able to order classic pies such as Apple Pie and Chocolate Pie.The Daly City location is busy and should have more seating. The parking area is shared with Ross and Trader Joe's and Safeway. On July 7, 2022, I returned and ordered a chili dog. This was sloppy and delicious. If you are in Daly City, give Nations burgera try. Read more

When I think of a Nation's burger, I think of a classic American burger without any gimmicks. Their burgers are pretty tasty. I... got the 1/3 lb. bacon cheeseburger $9.15 + fried egg $1.90 + onion rings $3.60 + soda $2.30 = $18.60 w/tax. The wall menu statesthe burgers are 3/4 lb. But their website states 1/3 lb patties. The wall menu is kind of misleading because burgers are usuallyweighed by patty, not by the entire burger. Regardless, I was satisfied. The onion rings were only meh. After eating two ofthem, it felt more like chore to finish them. It is nice to dine indoors again where I can refill my orange soda. Read more

A good place for breakfast or burgers. No indoor seating. Order and pickup outside. We had ordered 4 bacon cheese burger and 1... hamburger, 4 fries and a whole banana cream pie. Ate our burgers at the parking lot and saved the pie for home. Burgers werelarge and taste good. Plenty of onions, lettuce and tomato made it thicker and harder to bite into. Make sure you have napkinsready because it gets juicy. The bacon was still crispy. Fries came unsalted and were just partially soggy and crispy. Next timeI would probably order chili fries or cheesy fries. The banana cream pie was very good. Cream is excellent, you can smell thearoma of the banana and taste the freshness of the banana. The crust wasn't soggy but light and fluffy. I will be coming back... Read more
