Has it ever came to your mind that the food that you have in a restaurant, they are not responsible for it? That is the answer... that I got when I asked Angie Blair - Claim Examiner-Liability, that works for the insurance company for Outback - Bloomin`Brands. After that I tried to contact Chris - Joint Manager, and also Carter - Manager Partner from Outback Steakhouse in DalyCity, California. But they didn?t reply and of my messages or return any of my calls. My friend and I went to Outback locatedin Daly City, CA. We order steak, vegetables and mashed potato. Believe or not, but while we were enjoying our meal we foundmaggots in the mashed potato. When we complained with the waiter that was serving us, the plate was taken right way. The funnyfact is that the manager in charge came with 4 gift card - $10.00 each, and said we are so sorry for that and also charged usfor the drinks that we had. As I work in restaurant field for almost 10 years, I was expecting that Boomin` Brands was going todeal with this issue with the same respect that all the places that I worked had done. But unfortunately it has not happened,that?s why it took me so long to write this review, because I was still waiting for the same service that I have seen so manyplaces to do it. After we left the restaurant I couldn?t eat or work for 2 days, every time that I thought about eatingsomething, I went straight to the bathroom to try to throw up, because the first thing that came to my mind was themaggots. When Angie Blair called me saying that Outback owned by Bolming` Brands was not responsible for the food that theyserve - I asked her many times - Are you saying that the restaurant is not responsible for the food? Every time she replied:?The mashed potatoes are supplied to our insured ready yo use in a vacuum sealed bag. The customer service was the only thing great about this place. The coconut shrimps were very small. The onion blossom was... overly salty. The grilled chicken breast had too much pepper, was dry and rubbery. The portion sizes were 50% smaller than thatof Texas Roadhouse. Since Outback and Texas are similarly priced, you get more bang for your buck at Texas. The bathroom floorlooked clean but the floor had some sort of sticky substance that made my shoes stick. Maybe it was purposely put there to madeit anti-slip. The bathroom had a bad smell even though it appeared cleaned. I have no plans on returning. Read more
Interesting grill restaurant. Large selection of dishes. Often a full landing in the hall. Minus - the whole grill was... peppery. Plus - possible to pay online by code, which is incredibly convenient. Read more
It's an Outback, pretty much the same as every one. The food is okay. My ceasar salad was disappointing, bland and with wilted... lettuce. I had the sirloin steak, which was okay - well cooked but underseasoned and a bit stringy. The "aussie fries" wereuninspired. Our server was very friendly, but one of our orders was wrong, though quickly fixed. The prices are reasonable, thedecor is a bit bland. It's better than many chains, but it's still a chain. Well it's been over 15 years since I last ate here coming back to this spot brought back memories. They were right on time with... our food and seating we only waited 15 minutes. The food was really good all the pictures on their website is spot on. Read more
Wow they have improved... last time there was not good but they turned it around... meat was tender and juicy. Salads where... excellent and large. Drinks were sweet yet on point. We will be returning to this place again.... keep up the good work. .. Read more
Ordered online and curbside pickup. We ordered mainly appetizers as a meal. The wing were tasty and wasn't dry. It came with... blue cheese dressing which wasn't too bad.The mac and cheese balls were very cheesy and came with a side of dressing whichdidn't compliment the food. The coconut shrimp were good size shrimp covered in shredded coconut which I thought was a littletoo much. But the shrimp and batter was good. I love their menu, they have smaller cuts of most every steak, and any combo, and a great selection of sides, which you have... your choice of 2 with an entree. Perfect temperatures, quality cuts. Fresh vegetables. Pleasant service. We got these 'bloomingshrimp' appetizer that was awesome also. Great leftovers and I don't really do leftovers. Read more
