Disappointed for the Spicy Miso Ramen. Surprise for the Chirashi.
Wow, way better than I expected. Order the omakase don, chirashi, beef terikayi bento box with tempura, tonkatsu don with... tempura, and the fried squid. Fish was extremely fresh and on par with the quality of higher end Japanese restaurants like Ebisuin SF. Tonkatsu was thick and juicy. Beef terriyaki was tender as well! Portions were very generous, especially the tempura addon to the bento, so make sure you upgrade! My new go-to spot in Daly City for japanese food! Read more
Amazing Japanese food! Located in the Southgate shopping plaza, this place is a welcome new restaurant. The veggie tempura,... chicken kaarage, pan fried veggie udon, and chicken katsu were all fantastic; the fried food was all very lightly fried andfresh. You have to enter the restaurant to pick up your order and pay but the pickup table is right at the entrance. Definitelycall the restaurant directly to order rather than ordering through one of the apps. Read more
I ordered pickup two weeks in a row now and must say they're becoming my fave Japanese place. The sashimi (on the chirashi) was... generous and good quality for the price, and the tsukemen was rich and super umami. For my second try I ordered extra noodlesbecause there was quite a bit of dipping sauce to go around. I also loved their omakase don. Plus the chef was nice enough toadd free extra tuna tataki for me to try that day. Read more
