Horrible service - worst food ever. I had to ask after almost 25 minutes where our salads were. They forgot about them as they... were sitting in the kitchen waiting to be picked up. They tasted like they were out of a bag. The dressing was even worse. Tasted like it was straight out of a bottle. $12 bucks for these monstrosities. Then we were told that they had just put thepizza in the oven. I had to ask for water refills several times. The server left dirty plates on the table after the salad andnever asked us if we would like fresh ones. $18 for a pizza that tasted like chef boyardee out of a box. What a waste of my hardearned money. I won't be back. Good grief. Check on your customers often and for the love of God don't charge for a lousy pieceof bread if someone asks for bread! Offer that for free. Be dilligent and aware of your customers!! Read more

Most disappointing $100 meal I’ve ever ordered. The baguette was burned and missing the dipping sauces (could get a better one... from Ralph’s). The cups of soup were barely filled and mostly just briny both with 2 bits of lobster in one of the orders.Pasta was dry and flavorless. Gelato was missing the chocolate sauce. The only decent thing was the pizza. This was our firstand last time ever eating here. We tried it after thinking it was the Brio Italian Grill (not Tuscany) we’ve had before thatis amazing. We realized it wasn’t the same before ordering but thought we’d give it a try. Total waste of money! Read more
Hopped over to this restaurant for dinner from the hotel in DanaPoint as part of our continued anniversary celebration. Since I... love Italian foods, our kids chose this restaurant that was close to where we stayed and to celebrate the occasion withus. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Dana Point/ Laguna Miguel. The restaurant is full of vies. Mixing with live jazz music,the restaurant is full of live and energy. The foods are even better. The two appetizers we ordered were amazing. Deep friedcalamari was very good with crispy batter. The tomato sauce came with the appetizer was so good that I just ate it all. I lovedmy main dish of penne Donatello. The creamy tomato sauce was not too thick and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The other dishesmy family ordered were also fantastic. The plates were cleaned up. Amazing dinner! I've come here since I was 5 yrs old, and the food quality has never let me down and always continues to amaze... me! Claudio is one of the most enthusiastic people I've had the honor of meeting, always attentive and considerate! If I couldwrite a 20/5 star review I would most definitely. After over 15 years you all have mantain, not only the high quality and exclusiveness of Italian flavors, but your whole staff... keep that positive actitud and smile that is so welcoming and reasuring, that not matter how the odds of the outside world's is,we are at home in BRIO.
