Tried to be friendly but the inability to listen and not rush you out is what gives them a 3star and then to blame a customer... for not knowing the menu and the pricing off the top of their heads is very unprofessional. Went to redeem my free guacamole which did not specify a size in the disclaimer. Instead of just handing me the regular size I... had ordered, the dude took it back and gave me a small one with a smug look on his face, like he enjoyed giving me less.Completely blew the opportunity for a repeat customer which I would assume is the point of the freebies. Had a small purchase at this favorite store. They usually recognize their repeat customers, which I find unusual and... complimentary. Friendly and courteous staff, great freshly prepared food, good parking and drive-up service. Go there!! Read more
This particular location of El Pollo Loco is so on the ball it is unreal. Every single time I walk in there or anyone walks in... there for that matter they always greet you and always say hello and it's not just one person that does it it's several. Theirfood is always on point perfectly cooked and packaged very well and neat. They take time to ensure that you're very happy beforeyou leave especially when you're doing take out. For example tonight when I got my three piece meal, I ordered all chickenbreast and they felt that one of the chicken breast was not as big as it should have been so they showed me it before finishingpacking it up and ended up giving me a thigh as well. Review Updated ======= I have been back 3 times now to this Dana Point location. The staff is super friendly, the food is great... for quick Mexican eats. But most importantly, they?ve worked hard at constantly wiping the tables down. Glad to see theimprovements. ======= Great tasting food, i eat at this chain when possible as its affordable, great quality, and tasty. Iusually go for one of the $5 combos as it is the right proportion and it comes with a drink. The only downside at thisparticular location is the cleanliness of the tables in the dining area.
