Worst fish we?ve ever had. Fish was dry, yet greasy. The oil was overwhelming and it tasted like old grease. Fries, soggy. The... only upside; the coleslaw was very good. We called manager about this and she was nice about making it right. But we are in nomood to return anytime soon? Read more

Fish and chips and a couple of cold modelos with lime really hit the spot. Love this place! Oceanside is the way we love to... dine! Read more

Pretty solid fish & chips (nice crusty batter and perfectly cooked) but I feel like prices are a little bit too inflated. Food... took an extremely long time but that's to be expected on a weekend down at the Harbor. Excellent service though. Read more

Great selection, great service, fresh fish! The pic of the fish dish is the sea bass that I purchased fresh at Jon?s and... prepared at home. Pan Seared fresh sea bass topped with spring onion curls and micro greens. served in a roasted tomatillobroth sprinkled with charred corn and a side of sautéed petite colorful carrots. Paired with a glass of Chardonnay. Read more

My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years. They honestly serve the best smoked salmon I have ever had; it tastes... like candy! The staff has always been extremely friendly as well throughout the years. A must visit for seafood when in the OC! Read more

I don't normally post reviews but this was so bad I had to. I had to throw away the majority of the seafood bought for Christmas... eve dinner. I bought 1/2 of a pound of mussels and 1 pound of little neck clams. We had to throw out about half of the clamsdue to them being cracked or open. ALL of the mussels we had gotten were open, cracked or dead and we had to throw them away aswell. As you may imagine, having only a quarter of the seafood purchased greatly effected our Christmas Eve meal. Everything waspurchased the day of and was handled properly. It's fortunate that we're familiar with shellfish because if we had missed any wewould have had food poisoning for the holidays. The customer service was equally disappointing. I had returned to address myconcern in person and the night Supervisor said that the manager would contact me and/or refund. I was pleased that they caredenough to remedy the situation, but that was wishful thinking. A week later I had not heard back so I called, was interruptedthe instant they understood it was a compliant and put on hold. I have no clue how they manage to run a business like this. Thisis our first and last experience there. Read more

Staff was nice and friendly, but I was slightly disappointed by the quality of food. The shrimp boat was underwhelming with... three weak pieces of shrimp on top of a bed of fries. The garlic shrimp burrito was better and I appreciate the amount of cheeseused, but the flavor left something to be desired and seemed mediocre. It was also served with what tasted like stale chips thatwere reheated to make crunchy, but ended up hard and undesirable instead. I'm in no rush to come back, but when I do, I plan ontrying the chowder and the fish and chips. Read more
