Elmer's is one of those great 24 hour, eat whatever you want, diners. But the food is actually good, while some places do a lot... just ok, Elmer's just does it all good (or at least all that I've tried so far). We've been coming here for a few years and thefood is great, no matter if it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner I've never had a bad meal here. The service is always quick andfriendly. Read more
Well the staff were friendly food Is average issue I have is being charged $21 dollars for an $11 subpar dish I asked if the... breakfast came with an option of turkey bacon and sausage I was told yes, never mentioned it was at an additional charge. Iwould have definitely ordered something else if I knew they were going to charge me 10 extra dollars for 2 slices of turkeybacon and 1 turkey sausage. I only ate the eggs as the french toast had a over powering lemon flavor, the sausage wasquestionable left hungry and unsatisfied. Read more
No Bueno. I can literally count the amount of soggy fries. And don?t get me started with the cheese man. Do better. 0 out of 10.... Wouldn?t recommend the Philly cheese and soggy fries to my worst enemy. Read more
My husband and I are always on the lookout for a good place to eat. When we passed by Elmer's diner, it was an unassuming... looking place. But we heard good things about it and decided to go in and we were not disappointed! I keep thinking about thequesadillas that I had and my husband ordered a chicken salad that came with potato salad and cole slaw and it was divine! Inever tasted such a delicious plate! Read more
Let?s Start with parking , there simply isn?t enough parking to accommodate everyone. No one greets you at the door. There is... one choice of soup (untipical of diner ) would be no issue except it?s 25$ . Then I order my food and the onions are burned andthe meat is chewy I got the steak ensaboliado. Menue has a Mexican twist to the traditional diner menue which is ok but themenue is simply too large . And lastly I don?t recommend the guacamole apetizer as they give you 50 chips and 2 spoons ofguacamole. Overall will not be returning , it?s not worth it. Read more
Good food friendly staff, desserts looked awesome but was too full, maybe next time
Went here after the movies for some late night food. Had some baked chicken with stuffed crab meat, my wife had a cheeseburger... deluxe. Food was great and service was excellent. It's good to know this place is open 24hrs incase we get some food cravingslate at night. Didn't try the dessert because we were both full but really wanted to as the cake selection looked reallydelicious. I will try to save some room for it next time we come. Read more
This diner is one of my favs to go to. Decent size diner with pretty good food compared to most. The service here is pretty... awesome. Had my coffee filled always which is service you should always get. Food took some time to get because it came out allat the same time which was nice with a large party. Reminder that if you have a large party, the tip will be included on thebill. Small parking lot and people are cranky to get in and out so keep your eyes on your kids in the parking lot. Other thanthat, typical diner with a regular atmosphere. Of all the diners in Danbury, this is one of the best. Read more
