Always a stop when I visit Ft. Lauderdale. Low priced eats and drinks, but good quality food. Only a few issues this visit... 1)... It took too long to get a server, but when I did he was attentive. 2) They need to do something about those ducks. They areannoying. 3) The set up for the servers should not be behind a table. My wife and I are celebrating our six year anniversary today. We decided to come here to eat for lunch. Food was AMAZING!!! I?ve... never been served so quick after ordering. Our server, Nick!!! Is a gem, whatever he is being paid, he deserves double. I?veworked in customer service and value exceptional service. Nick exhibited that and more. We hope to have Nick as our serveragain. Inexpensive restaurant, but cleanliness is much on the low side. Won?t comment on the food (meh?) since pricing was on the lower... end, but our main concern was the cleanliness of this place. Our silverware was dirty with food stains on them and our servingplates were dirty too. Had the request to get them changed. I didn?t take pictures of them at first since it was early into ourservice, but after eating here and checking out the bathrooms, this was it? the restroom was nasty, couldn?t use it. Otherrestaurant floor areas where the customers could see looked out of place too. Took mom here for Mother's Day. It was really busy but luckily we made a reservation. Got seated quickly outside in the shade &... under a fan. You cannot beat the price for lunch. EVERYTHING is 4.99 until 5pm! You get decent size portions and the food wasyummy. We ordered Fish Tacos, Fish & Chips, and wings. All were delicious. Even for them being busy they did NOT skip out onquality. The drinks! 3 for $10! You definitely cannot beat that! Our faves were the Old Fashion & Strawberry Margarita. Youcan definitely taste and enjoy the alcohol. Mom ordered the creme brulee. It was okay. Sadly the custard was broken on theinside and couldn't really taste the vanilla. After seeing mixed reviews for Ocean One in this group I've been wanting to give it a try. Finally went today for lunch and I am... so glad we did. It was fantastic. The lunch menu is reasonably priced at $4.99 with a great selection and cocktails are 3 for$10. The service was absolutely wonderful and the food was excellent. The food came out rather quickly. For the appetizers wegot an order of the calamari. The Szechuan garlic sauce that was served with it was delicious. We also got an order of thewings. Wow!! Yummmmy!! One thing I don't care for is sitting with dirty plates and the clean up staff was quick about removingthem. Our server had a cute personality and was also great about checking on us. Sorry I don't recall her name. Our main mealswere the Southwest Chicken Salad and Orecchiette Pasta. Both excellent choices. However, the pasta had such incredibleflavor. We will definitely go back. Next time would order more of the wings. Give Ocean One a try if you haven't done so. Youcan't beat this deal. Read more
First time dining here (Davie) after seeing a nearby movie and must say I was quite impressed. Everything is reasonably priced... especially the alcohol. Ordered a crab cake appetizer...it was good but I would like to have the crab mix a little more firmer. For Dinner I ordered a hamburger and my wife ordered the panko chicken. Everything tasted delicious and was cookedperfectly. We will definitely go back again. Excellent drink specials 3 for $10. Did not enjoy the chocolate martini but the other 2 martinis I had were tasty!! My spinach... dip was luke warm but it was good. The shrimp skewer was excellent!!! Outside setting was a plus and they accommodated our largeparty. Our server was very nice. Will be returning when I come back to town. Read more
My experience was great, I got the $5.99 dinners before 5pm, the portions were seemingly fair! The restaurant looks like a... hangout spot and suitable if anyone is wanting to save money. The prices are fair enough, one has to take in consideration thisisn?t a five star restaurant. Read more
