I have been going to giant pizza for over 10 years now and the food is good, but customer service has been going down hill for a... long time, on Friday night I went to pick up my pizza, there was one person working the counter and he was very overwhelmed, while I waited for my order a man came to the side counter and stated he had been in a booth with his family waiting over 30minutes for the pizzas he had ordered, the guy behind the counter handed him two pizza?s, (no waiter/waitress?) and didn?t evensay sorry or anything, then I noticed a family walking out, I over heard them saying that they waited at a table for 10 minutesand no one even came by. Their Pizza is really good! I like the red sauce and the crust. Tasty. I got the small Special Pizza again, minus the Anchovies.... Ever notice that there is no credit if you don't want something? Not just here, everywhere. I specifically asked if Anchoviesnot wanted on the Special Pizza could be added to another pizza I ordered at the same time. I was told, "OK" However, wascharged $2.25 for them -- hummm. I have noticed in the past that there is an additional charge if you use credit or debit. TodayI came with CASH. On the receipt there was a change of $1.99 for "Service Fee" What is that all about? I drove there. Didn't getdelivery. Paid in cash. I don't get it. And I left a decent tip. I don't understand. Been going to Giant since I was a kid in the early 90?s. Always loved the place until recently. They botched my last 3 orders,... and tonight was the final straw. I ordered 2 pizzas a grinder and Cinnamon stix tonight. I would have confirmed that the orderwas correct in the restaurant had I picked it up, but my wife went this time so we didn?t realize that it was made wrong untilshe got home which is 8 miles away from the restaurant. I called to let the restaurant staff know and the guy was verynonchalant like it wasn?t even a big deal. Not even an apology! Rather than remaking the full order, they just remade the pizzathey messed up so we had to live with eating the rest of the the food cold and soggy. I will go to Frankos pizza from now on. Inormally wouldn?t write a review, especially something negative, but this place has gone down hill when it comes to service andcompetence. TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE! I DON?T KNOW HOW ELSE TO EXPLAIN IT! Ordered delivery it took over an hour it finally arrived and My... whole order wasn?t there! And on top of that my grinder was Soggy,& Cold and fries were like rubber! They are short ondelivery drivers, not my problem. I ordered a pizza with a few toppings, which adds up to a lot for a small pizza. The tomatoes were missing and I was only told... about it when I arrived to pick up the pizza. I had to request a refund, which the girl at the counter wasn?t going to give tome until I asked her for it. Then when I dug into the pizza I realized another topping I ordered wasn?t on the pizza. Theyreally missed the mark on this. I?m not from the area, so by the time I realized it, it was too late for me to go back. Nothappy. Read more
The worst experience I?ve ever had. I will Never order from Giant ever again. I ordered food and had it delivered. They used... Doordash to deliver my food and order was wrong when it arrived 40mins later. When I called they put no rush on my incorrectorder and told me that they?d have to re cook(understandable) and then wait for someone. After an hour, I called and my foodwas sitting there cold. They then hung up on me and didn?t answer my calls as I was I trying to cancel my order as it had nowbeen almost 3 hours since I originally called. I called the owner the next day and told him the story and he didn?t evenapologize. It took them almost a week to refund me the food that I never got. I wish I could give a negative score.
