We went for a birthday dinner. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with ?Happy Tuesday!? by a couple of lovely hostesses.... Until that day, I don?t think I had ever heard that from someone who actually meant it before. Our waitress was also veryfriendly. The drinks and the food were all great. We had the special boned in ribeye. I asked for the white truffle whippedpotatoes and it was simply the best mashed potato I have ever had. I?m so glad we found this place. We enjoyed a nice meal and night out with friends at 9 Elm - lots of good great reviews about their food, and they deserve... them! Only reason we are not putting up 5 stars is a nasty looking millipede or something similar seemingly crawled out of thegrate beneath our table and was climbing the wall next to my friends wife and was looking to see if she was friendly. We triedcatching it, but only ended up with a few legs and were hopeful it back where it came from. She lost her appetite, however wefinished our meal and called it a night. Great date night type of place. Romantic and quaint. I don't think it's possible to have a bad meal here! I highly recommend... the stuffed dates. Amazing! You HAVE to make a reservation to get in. It's always busy. . Read more

Going here was a great experience. For starters we got the butternut squash ravioli and the stuffed dates. The dates aren't... pictured hut the presentation was great. They stuff them with blue cheese (which was a bit lacking to be honest also ide preferfeta.)but the app itself was delicious. The butternut squash ravioli was good but it just lacked the punch of flavor that I wasexpecting (maybe more sage?) but the pasta the ravioli was made from.... Delicious. Ide definitely get both again. For meals Igot the pork chop and it was out of this world. Cooked perfect and flavor in every single bite. Nothing was overwhelming andevery flavor complimented one another. The salmon was cooked just right and the lentils were delicious. We got creme brulee fordesert and it was very well done. Can't wait to go back here and try the filet mignon (I was on the fence with that and thechop) highly recommend. Read more
