Food is tasty ???? & complimentary to the great chef, nice hospitality & respectful front staff BUT the carpet condition is... filthy all around the restaurant particularly behind the counter. We usually eat Chinese food in Oakland Chinatown. If we don't want to drive far, we eat at China Paradise. It's one of the 2... best Chinese restaurants in our neighborhood. Last night did not disappoint. The calamari was crispy and flavorful. The beef wastender and well seasoned. The portions were large. The Deluxe Mixed Vegetables with Prawns, Curry with Chicken, and Mongolian Beef all taste great and are very reasonable priced... as lunch specials, given the large portion sizes and the soup of the day included (even with carry-out orders). My only minorcomplaint is that the free fried rice, in the lunch specials, is pretty boring. Read more

So glad I decided to stop here for lunch. Even the to go order came with the soup and even a fried wanton. Everything was... awesome and they were all very friendly. 5 stars all the way around. Only wish I lived closer so I could go back more often. Read more
