Cozy place and they are trying. The menu looks good but the food is surprisingly subpar. After three visits: the truffle fries... have never once had any truffle flavor; entrees have never all come out at the same time; servers don’t understand an order;and more. Had a fabulous dinner at Danville Harvest this past Friday night. We had a fairly early reservation (6:15) and there were still... plenty of open seats when we arrived, though not so much by the time we left. We waited a bit longer than I'd like before ourserver arrived, but once she had us the service was friendly and attentive. They offer a great selection of cocktails. I wentfor the Maratime (Rum, apricot brandy, falernum, lime and sherry). From never hearing of Falernum a year ago, I know now toalways order any drink that contains it and have not been disappointed. And the Maratime did not disappoint, either! The foodis somewhat small plates style, but I'd argue most of the "main" servings were very generous! We started with the Mac & Cheesecroquettes, which everyone swears by for very good reason! Again, a serving of four was generous, but I could have easily eatenmore. The truffle fries were tasty, though the parmesan cheese mostly fell off the fries. For mains, my wife had the pesto &tomato gnocchi, very fresh and flavorful. I had the short rib, which was outstanding! There was a sweet crispy char to theoutside, while the rest melted in my mouth. So good! We even splurged on dessert: chocolate brownie cookies (big and meltywarm) and creme brulee. So worth it. This is a great spot in the heart of quaint, downtown Danville. Don't miss it. I liked some of my food, specifically the French Dip sliders. Very carmelized onions and overall tasty. The potato leek soup... has something in it that overpowered both the leek and potato, leaving a very strange taste. Didn't like it. Take also gotcheese board, which we thought would be enough to share. Nope! Very small amount of cheese, with some crunchy bread slices and atiny bit of jam. Short rib was sweet like meat candy. Very nice. Potatoes and veggies were fine. Shrimp and Salmon were verysoft. Mac & cheese tasted of cream with parmesan on top. A bit short staffed Thursday evening but managed their tableswell. Overall expensive for what i usually eat, but that's downtown Danville for ya. Nice to have once. Read more
I love this place! Easy, quick meals. Love their ahi tuna poke and super food salad with shrimps or salmon. Their grain bowl is... also a quick yummy choice! Always perfectly delicious! And if you’re feeling a little happier, give a try to their cocktails.???? Read more
Brunch was delicious and service was on top of everything! I had Country Breakfast (photo) and it was was tasty! Also enjoyed in... our group of five was a giant cinnamon roll, 1/2 lb burgers, and a fried chicken sandwich. Outdoor seating with space betweentables was nice. Reservation recommended. Might not have been needed today because it seemed like light foot traffic on a 3-dayweekend, compared to how busy it usually is in Dineville. Read more
Harvest has some of the highest quality food in Danville! Delicious farm to table vibe with a great attentive staff. I love the... grain bowl it’s always my go-to but I also love the chicken and short ribs! Great cocktails and extensive wine list. They havea nice outdoor patio area and beautiful interior! Read more
Beautiful restaurant and nice location. I like to go there for brunch every weekend. The food is fresh and tasty. The staffs are... very friendly! I love Danville and this restaurant is one of my favorite things to do in this town. Read more
