Best authentic Mexican food in Illinois. Amazing prices and the real deal on typical Mexican fare. If this restaurant was... located in Chicago it would cost a fortune. Unfortunately most people in Danville don?t recognize how great this restaurantreally is. The upside is that it?s usually not terribly busy and the atmosphere is lovely. I have been going to Buen for 25+ years starting back when they had the small location by the high school. I have lived in... Chicago and now live in NC and this is still my favorite restaurant. We are always treated well when we go! The Chile con quesois the best I?ve ever had, and everything I?ve ever tried on the menu has been enjoyable. The food is ok if it's warm. It's authentic Mexican food so that's a plus but the service lacks much to be desired. Is usually... not busy. There is a room downstairs for larger events. The outdoor wraparound deck seats people with views of woods. Read more
