The food was decent. Not near as hot as you would expect from a restaurant like that, but I didn't feel like cooking so I can't... really complain. The server earned the 5 stars. I was in a table, off to the side, not very noticeable and in a kind offorgettable place, and I kind of expected to be forgotten because the place was BUSY. Nope. She was fast, super friendly, andearned every bit of the tip I gave her, which was 110 percent of my bill. I only wish I had asked her name so I knew who torequest if I go back anytime soon. It took 20 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge us. Took longer to get her drinks. When she did come to take her order she... was full of excuses of why it took her so long. Her hair was tossed up it looked as if she had just got out of bed. My gueststated that she will never go to the Danville Cracker Barrel again. Great place to eat service was terrible. We often stop at Cracker Barrel while traveling to visit parents or while on vacation elsewhere. The experience varies for each,... but this one in Danville is very good. Had a very disappointing delivery experience. No cream or sugar for the coffee. No ice cream with cobbler even though it?s... supposed to come with it. And I ordered the eggs scrambled with cheese; it arrived not scrambled and runny; not cooked properly.Not a good meal. Read more
Our family are at Cracker Barrel off Winchester RD on Thanksgiving Day. Our meal cost $14.99. That included Turkey, Dressing, 2... sides. Dessert and drink. We waited 15 minutes and sat down. The service was Excellent and the food was hot and delicious. Read more
