What a cute place! Love the atmosphere, and the staff was wonderful, especially the woman at the front desk when we arrived, I... wish I could remember her name! Very comfortable and convenient, staying here for work and truly felt welcome. The conferencelocation was very clean and bright, and the banquet staff were very sweet and helped me with everything, no matter how needy Iwas. The food at the tavern is incredible! Honestly 100% the best spinach dip I’ve ever had in my life! That says a lotbecause I order it every time I see it on a menu. I make it at home too but not nearly as good as this stuff! Salmon and thevegetarian ravioli were both fantastic too. Definitely recommend the inn, the tavern, and the meeting site- 10/10 would do itall again! Read more
I only sat in the parking lot this time but I figured Hey why not let ya know what a great place this is. I have stayed there in... the past while my husband had open heart surgery. Here for surgery. Rooms are dated, but clean. Staff is excellent and friendly. Restaurant was big surprise. Food was fresh ,... delicious and well priced. 3 min walk from Geisinger hospital and just .5 miles from downtown eats and grocery/drug stores.Shuttles available if you can't walk. Read more
First time trying the Inn for dinner, my 62nd birthday. We called ahead for a table for 4 and two kids with high chairs. We... arrived and nothing was set up and we had to grab our own high chairs. it took awhile before our server came over. it tookawhile to get water and then drinks even longer. The two appetizers arrived quick and were good. Things fell apart after it tookan hour to get our meals and the kids had finished theirs. My order was wrong and it should have been obvious since my mealdidn't come with a baked tater but the meal they gave me did and yes you guessed it, my plate had two baked taters on it. thedrinks were very watery and not very good for 8 bucks. the service was slow and our meals looked and tasted like they sat underthe warming lamps too long. lastly they tried to bill me for the order. The closeness and shuttle to the hospital is super convenient. The event/dining center is stunning! Food was good but I think it... was a poorly chosen menu by the company hosting. After spending the evening in the gorgeous event area, taking the quick walk tothe hotel rooms was a disappointment. They could use an equally stunning upgrade! Bathrooms are super small! Read more
