Not very busy on a Saturday night. The waitstaff was good. Food took almost 45 minutes to come out. My belief was that the... football games were distracting the cooks a little too much(as a couple members of the kitchen staff came out from the kitchento watch the game for a few minutes). The manager emerged from the office area for about 2-3 minutes to go speak to the hostess,then returned back to the office. With no more than 7 or 8 tables currently being served, I thought it would have been good forhim to check on the current customers. *one caveat* This may be an unpopular opinion, but Hooters wings are not the same as theyused to be. My wings(although they tasted fine) reminded me of the little fried chicken legs you would see on a Chinese buffet,but then they were dipped in hot sauce. These had way too much batter on them. Not used to posting a "bad" review so this isn't easy. Especially when it's a place we've frequented & enjoy. Visited this... particular location after not being for awhile. Was not acknowledged after walking in although noticed - They used to take youto a seat & welcome you. Took a seat & after 5-10 minutes a server appeared while everyone else was laughing, joking, goingoutside for smoke breaks etc. Second surprise was the lack of cleanliness...tables, floors & windows. We decided to stay &shrugged it off as we just assumed maybe there had been a prior rush & lack of servers to help. After reviewing the menu,noticing it was not only hard to read due to the print, items had been marked out - we were more than ready to order everythingnot just drinks since we had waited. We waited yet again as the server forgot her pad... Since we have been Hooter "OriginalDaytona Wing" lovers we were ready ! After a 30 minute + wait...We were VERY disappointed. Not only were the wings lacking sauce& crispiness they had a very strange vinegar taste. When we were able to locate our server we asked for some extra sauce just tocompare what was on the wings verses in a container - OR they mistakenly used the wrong sauce. It happens. NOPE. It wasAWFUL. NOT sure IF there has been a change in the recipe, if someone didn't mix the ingredients correctly or the sauce wasold.....BUT they were NOT the same as they have always been for years. Very disappointed. They also have changed the onionrings which were always great & no longer offer the tower. Now they are skimpy, cheap off brand frozen ones & over cooked. Wewere never offered refills nor could we locate the server multiple times OR we would have shared our concerns. And believe meone patron is very vocal. We just gave up & was ready to go. It's disappointing since we've all been Hooter Wing Lovers sincethe first time in FL MANY years ago. We have visited MANY locations over the years & have NEVER been disappointed. It Read more
We ordered on a Saturday night probably when this crew was deep in the thick of it. My husband wasn't aware of the full order so... he didn't know to look for the chocolate cake I added. That's my bad, but this location went above and beyond to make it right.Now, onto the wings.. I stood by my kitchen counter where my husband sat the bag and I devoured 10 wings without so much asstopping for a breath. They were absolutely amazing and I regret nothing. Showed up at 730pm did not get drinks till 8:00pm , pitcher of beer was sitting at bar for 15min. Food did not come out till... 8:30-8:45 , one cook fixing food the other two was going out back door was some of the girls. Food was not cooked to order for agluten from person like was requested . Management was going out side instead of worrying about his customers. We was not theonly people that was upset with the time it took. I will never go back to this restaurant ????. We were just there waited over two hours for food several people came in after us got there food ate and left. We ask about our... food said they would get a manager and 20 minutes later still no food or manager. We left! I have never been so mad at arestaurant in my 47 years! Read more
Running out of food options as so many things crossed off the paper menu. More than half the beer taps were covered with plastic... cups. Great wings and service was ok. Read more
Hit up Hooters for nostalgia reasons. I honestly couldn't remember the last time I'd been to Hooters. They had a good local brew... on tap from Braided River. The wings and friendly Staff were just as I remembered. If football were on the TV, it would havebeen a near perfect afternoon. Read more
