We used to love this Longhorn. We?ve been regulars coming for over a year and it?s just gone to trash. As a server myself, I... would not have brought out the salad they gave me. It had a MOTH (not night time when it was served) in it for one, which ohwell bring me a new salad and it?s fine. The problem is they proceeded to give me a salad from the exact same batch of saladwhich is DISGUSTING, it should have been thrown away immediately. The brown spots on this salad were disgusting. I?m a cookmyself, I would?ve thrown this away and told the customer we had no salad before serving this. I shouldn?t have to PICK THROUGHmy salad to find pieces that are not brown. Mentioned I was allergic to bread (gluten, wheat) and was asked if we wanted bread,dessert, appetizers (everything that had wheat). We watched our server, who had another tables drinks along with our HOT food,take the table their drinks before serving us our food. As a food service worker, you should know hot food comes first. The food was good but the service was great! A storm came in while we were eating with our kids and we waited it out for awhile... but when we left one of there workers walked us to our car in the rain so we'd stay dry. It was so nice of him. And we left ourdaughters shoes there and called about them later and they said they'd keep them for us in the office. They ending up puttingthem on display as they were little cowboy boots. i know how busy this place can get so i?m glad to have not had to wait for a table. went on a thursday night for laid back... dinner and LongHorn was a good choice. our server, Clay was incredible. he knew the menu like the back of his hand. it was himwho had recommended the Wild West Shrimps and the NewYork Strip and it didn?t dissatisfy us at all. he made the whole experiencea 5/5. Stopped here for a light lunch and drink. I haven?t been to a Longhorn in many years and never been to the Daphne location until... now. It was great!! Our server, Sherina was working the bar and several tables in the dining area and she never missed a beat.She was super nice and friendly and suggested appetizers for our lunch that were really good!! Awesome experience here they where kid friendly and JOJO was a great waiter. He even plugged up my dying phone so I could... capture the images in this review. All the dishes where perfect except they put feta cheese on the grapes my daughter orderedbut easy fix if your kids are weird about there fruit go ahead and tell them to omit that ????. Read more
Probably one of the best experiences we have had recently. The food was great. The waitress was great. The atmosphere was... great as it was not too cold or hot, just right for dining out. Unfortunately, this company fails to honor the fact they areoperating in Dixie and or Alabama by handing indoors or outdoors the State of Alabama Flag or the Confederate Battle Flag.
