The best comfort food in Darien. I love their lobster bisque, French onion soup, and clam chowder. So satisfying and OMG... delicious. They also have the best burger in town. I order mine medium rare with LTO catsup and mustard. And switch out thefries for a side salad with honey mustard dressing. There is also a cozy bar. Slip in on a wintry New England day and enjoy ahot cup of soup and a cocktail. Read more

Friendly staff. Good food. Little hard to find limited parking but once you get inside, it's well worth it. The Meggin is really... good. As is the ham & brie. Homemade Apple crisp is excellent. Would certainly eat there again if in the area. Read more

The dining room could use a makeover. Not very comfortable or inviting. The waitresses need a dress code. Tank tops and leggings... are very unprofessional and no one needs to see sweaty armpits reaching over the table. The food was ok but the turkey sandwichwas a miss. Warm stuffing coupled with cold turkey coupled with a slab of canned cranberry sauce just didn?t hit the spot. Read more

Went here on a casual date during the week and really enjoyed it! Very homey feel and super small dining room, only 12-15 tables... (additional patio seating in good weather). Super friendly staff and excellent food! The steak was as good as (if not betterthan) one from a top notch steakhouse, just a shame it was only on the specials and not a regular menu item. We also tried thelobster bisque based on other?s recommendations but we didn?t love it like we hoped to. Maybe just a matter of preference but wethought it was too tomato-y. Lobster was cooked well tho, not chewy. Really enjoyed our dinner/visit and look forward to goingback for another meal! Read more

We stopped into Rory?s for dinner and were immediately surprised how much larger this cozy restaurant and bar feels once... inside. The bar is well appointed with mainly maritime themed decor and has a warm and friendly feel. The dining section seatsabout 32-36 hungry patrons. We had to choose from several intriguing menu options plus the nightly specials. The grilled fishwas as beautiful as it was tasty! The pastry filled with seasoned ground beef had a subtle spiced influence of middle easternorigin. The broth seemed a bit light for dipping the flavorful pastry, but altogether a rewarding choice. The dessert ???? listincluded many favorites and the daily specials included profiteroles... yummy too! our server, Layli, was warm, friendly &managed to keep the plates spinning quite well! We?ll be back to explore what they offer here at Rory?s! Read more
