I was curious about Scena after reading that it was created by a group that has other restaurants in the area. I came at about... 5:00 pm and was seated outside. My martini was delicious. I then ordered the crispy artichoke. While anything fried is good,this had a salty sauce/olive oil scenario and could have benefited from an infusion of citrus or something sweet. My entree wasthe corn ravioli which was good, but again somewhat bland. I would have like martini #2, but my server had disappeared, despitethe fact that there were only two tables. Scena has the ability to be great. The only reason I am leaving 2 starts is because the bar tender Peter, was very respectful.... Other than that, this restaurant is ridiculously over priced for below mediocre food. A small chicken Caesar salad was $26. Youmay as well go to one of the restaurants down the street who provide a meal for that price. The drinks were good, but they usevery cheap tequila. Again, Peter was kind but the alcohol used in the drinks are not good unless you’re very specific with thebrand of alc that you would prefer. Read more
Food was delicious, I had the grilled calamari, and Branzino for dinner. The service was sorely lacking, not busy at all. They... took our drink orders at different times, not listening when I tried to call them back to the table to take my order. Afterthat it got worse no one came to the table. We tried to get the waiters attention, but they were more interested in talkingamongst themselves. To a point that they deliberately ignored us. No offer for another drink or dessert. Charred octopus was delicious, salad was mediocre, espresso was not an espresso. For an Italian place I would expect them to... know an espresso and a double espresso and not serve me drip coffee. Read more

What a disappointment. My husband and I made a reservation for an 1130 lunch at Scena only to show up and their restaurant not... be open. When we arrived we saw that the restaurant doesn't open until 12 noon. I double checked our reservation confirmationwhich clearly stated 1130 am. Why didn't someone call us to adjust or cancel our reservation is beyond me. I called and left amessage explaining the situation asking for a return phone which was never received. It was our 12 year wedding anniversary. This completely ruined our date as we only have a certain alloted time for lunch during the week. A week later and I still haveyet to receive a phone call.
