The Carriage House is SUPERB. Lauren, our wonderful waitress, had the best recommendations and knew good food. My family loved... the salmon tarte starter. I personally savored every last drop of the creamy pumpkin bisque. The Red Fish served over dirty ricewas flaky and cooked to perfection. And just when we thought we couldn't fit any more food the dessert menu came. We tried allfour of their INCREDIBLE desserts, but my personal favorites were the bread pudding and red velvet cheesecake. This beautifulrestaurant is a must try. I cannot reccomwnd it enough. Highly recommend making reservations online, extremely easy process and our table was waiting for us when we got there. It was... however a little difficult to actually find the place. We had small children (2,5) and the waitress was so helpful and gave usso much grace the entire time! Put their orders in right when we got there so they weren’t waiting and even made sure they hadspill proof cups. The food was very good as well. Read more
Very nice restaurant with a large dining table in the middle surrounded by smaller tables. There are other attached dining... rooms. We split a crab cake as an appetizer. It had a chili remoulade sauce with it. I love crab cakes and have eaten many ofthem. I don't believe you will find a better one anywhere. It was large and full of lump crabmeat. There was very littlefilling. For a our main course we each had the Eggplant Napolean with a saffron cream sauce. There was plenty of crabmeat andthe eggplant had a crispy coating. It came with a couple asparagus and carrots. All of our food was excellent. Our waitress dida great job taking care of us and was very nice. You can't go wrong eating here. Read more
My son and I ate here on Sunday May 1, 2022. Great Food and service in the Carriage House restaurant. I would like to thank... the owner, Mr. Kelly, for the amazing place to see history as it was in this beautifully maintained mansion. The tour wasawesome. This was my 4th visit but 1st inside tour. Our gentleman tour guide did an outstanding job with the history. Want tobring my family back. Read more

So glad Oak Alley restaurant was closed and we saved a reservation here when we did! The grounds are gorgeous! We often stay in... Sorrento when we visit and never been here in the last 4 years! So glad we did get a seat here. The food is fantastic andtotally worth what you pay for (it is a bit priced than your normal po boy restaurant, but SO worth it for real good food).Photo of food below is the pork chop *chef kiss*. The waiter was very nice and attentive even when it did start to get busy. Wewere dressed for walking tours this day and definitely felt undressed, but next time, we’ll dress up a bit and make multipledinner reservations here in the future! Read more
The exceptional building and the high prices set high expectations that weren't fully met: mango crab cake in saffron sauce... didn't have a lot of mango, nor did the sauce have a lot of saffron. Desert were average. Service is ok but not high end. Read more
