Okay for price vs content. If you want to eat sushi and NOT pay a large bill for it, that's the place. If you are in search of... best sushi experience and have an idea about how it should be, it's just mediocre. Rice around sushi was cold and felt likecooked some long hours ago. Rolls were not tight enough. I also had a grilled squid (ika sugatayaki) which was really hard tochew, felt under-cooked. If you are going for supper, you might need reservations even weekdays, place seems really busy atsupper time. Service was fast. If you go as a group or as a couple, everyone has to pick either all-you-can-eat or a la carte.All-you-can-eat price seems very convenient. Read more

I have nothing bad to say. The sushi was top notch, it may have been the best sushi I ever had. Service was good and the place... was clean. It is also in a very nice location, next to the wharf. I had the Spicy Maki combination with 6 rolls each of SpicyTuna, Spicy Salmon, and Spicy Crab. Eighteen rolls for $18.95, too much for one person, I took the other half home. The pricewas very reasonable. Highly recommend. Read more

Our food was absolutely delicious and the portions were amazing! Prices are very good considering the outstanding quality and... amount of food you are getting. Our waitress was incredibly kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back any time we arein Dartmouth! Read more

The price for the AYCE is now 31.00 on a Thursday at dinner time . I found the service quite slow . I paged from the tablet for... a water refill and the water didn't get to me for a few minutes , more than once . A few items I ordered from the tablet neverarrived at all , more than once . The menu lists ingredients for certain dishes but when they arrived , there were addedingredients that were not listed , like cashews , which had to be sent back due to an allergy at the table . I was waiting on adessert that was missed and it all felt kind of rushed , I was given my bill before I was even finished eating . Probably due tosurpassing the two hour time limit , that was spent mostly waiting on unreceived or missed orders . The area that JUKAI is inwas really nice , close to the water , but it was difficult to find parking . I'm not sure I will be back . Read more

Please note there is no longer a lunch price for all you can eat. We went on a Sunday lunchtime and it was $28.99 each plus a $1... Friday/Sat/Sun/holidays surcharge. Ouch. However you don't all have to have AYCE, some of us ordered a la carte from themenu. The food and service was great. We had the party platter between two of us and it was great for $34. See pic. Love it. Try the all you can eat. Mini kamikaze and ocean 7 are so special. Try the menu options to add different ingredients... and sauces to your liking. Make sure you book ahead of time as it has become so popular. Read more

I have had Jukai on my list of places to try for a few weeks, so took my colleagues out for lunch this past week. Firstly, it is... in an excellent area! I had never been before, but parking was relatively easy and not terrible expensive ($5 for two hours). Ihave to say upfront - their staff is excellent. Really attentive, friendly, proactive and quick. They definitely made ourexperience that much more enjoyable. We were seated quickly as we had made a reservation, and it was only a matter of minutesuntil our food had started to arrive. Their sushi pizza was definitely some of the best I've had. The tempura sweet potato wasalso the perfect texture which I enjoyed very much. Their fried milk was also the most delicious I've tried. Their sushi rolls, while tasty, were not the best I have had but you cannot argue with the quality and quantity for the price of $17.99 for AYCE.We embarrassingly ordered way too much, but their overage fee was very reasonable and I'm glad that they encourage customers tohelp reduce waste. Would definitely eat here again but would be more likely to order a few rolls for takeout. Read more
