Daufuskie Crab Co. is a great place to spend and afternoon. This island vibe, live music and great bar style food along with a... play set and tractor for the kids to climb on and hang out makes this a great hang out for all ages. You do have to plan yourvisit appropriately as this place can get VERY busy during the summer months, especially on a weekend. I recommend gettingthere by 10 or 11 by the latest which would allow you to order your food and drinks prior to the huge rush of people and boatsthat converge on this island. Docking your vessel can be a significant challenge during the crowded times as the dock spacewill fill up quickly and then boats end up tying up to the sides of boats that are tied to the dock. If you plan your visitappropriately this place is a great restaurant to hang out for a couple of hours. If you don't it can become a congestednightmare with lots of people and an overwhelmed staff! We came by boat. $10 dock fee. Docks rock a bit. Most seating is very casual & outdoors. Order food at bar, cook delivers it to... table. Our Fish tacos and flounder sandwich was good. Looks like a nice hangout if you like a bar & music feel. Stage for livemusic. Small, colorful cabins for rent. A nice General store for conveniences. Some areas did not look the cleanest, example,Orange water refill jugs area where you get water out of, bathrooms could use freshness & care. Read more

Located right near the ferry, this is the perfect place to grab a bite before/after your trip to the island. You need a boat to get to Daufuskie Island. Any day spent on a boat is a good day! Spicy Shrimp and Peel 'n Eat Shrimp (local... shrimp) that I had or tasted were excellent, and everything else got positive reviews. The lunch order (for 6 people) wasprocessed smoothly and accurately. The bathrooms were pretty darned good for an informal seafood place on a secluded island. Read more

What an amazing sunset! The location is truly breathtaking and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful spot to have a drink and... marvel at the scenery. The food is also really good. We had fish fingers, nachos, Caesar salad, lobster rolls and it is allreally tasty. You have to try the famous "Scrap Iron" drink its like their version of a twisted tea. Our family had such a great time here. A bit unorthodox but it worked great! Food was delicious! Staff was nice, atmosphere was... fun, view was beautiful. Great experience.
