The Brunswick stew said it's "award winning" and after warming it up, I have to agree. Listen, if you live on the island or just... got done taking a long winter walk like I did... stop by and grab dinner. You know you don't want to cook when you get home. You're hungry now! De-licious! Read more

Stopped by this place based on reviews. Did not disappoint! 3 lady?s was cooking away behind the counter. They were so friendly... and answered all of my sons 1000 questions lol It?s actually a place where you take containers with food home and just warm themup. From breakfast to dinner selections.. they have it all! Oh and dessert! Best banana pudding ever! Thank you lady?s! You?refans from Ocean Springs! Read more

this place needs no elaborate review. Dinner?s Ready is run by good people who know how to prepare great food. certainly worth... a (weekly) visit. (hint: start with the Cowboy Caviar and Greek Chicken Pasta. they?re cheating somehow i just know it.) Read more

got the squash casserole from here. I'm not a big fan of squash in general. Followed the baking instructions and it turned out... wickd awesome. The casserole was big enough for 4 or 5 as a side or enough for two by itself. Will be back for more comfortfood. Read more

Do yourself a favor when you visit Dauphin Island and get food from Dinner's Ready. You will be waiting in line a *long* time... at almost any restaurant on the island (which we found out the hard way), so picking something up from here and having it towarm up back at the house/Airbnb/wherever is a godsend. And the chicken parmesan is delicious! Read more

They were just opening following a vacation, so had limited days that week. Our first visit, was a little confusing...... Basically, they cook up a batch of home cooked food, and sell it in to go containers. We had Grandma's beef and noodles and thechicken enchiladas. Both were very good! Plenty for two meals. This is a very cute shop on the Main Street on Dauphin Island. My husband and I spent nearly a week here in a vacation rental.... Even though we had a beautiful, well-stocked kitchen I didn?t want to spend a lot of time cooking and we were tired of eating atrestaurants. This place is a true gem. The owners are nice and friendly, the food is all excellent and made with high qualityingredients. We basically ate their food the whole time. There is an excellent selection. All you need to do is reheat the foodin the microwave or oven. We only needed to buy drinks, salads and fruit. I wish this was franchised and located in everyvacation spot with lots of home rentals.
