Cool, art deco-ish building that has two floors for the restaurant. There were seating the upper floor and it is a unique... circular space with views like 240 degrees around. There is also a nice patio off of it overlooking the ocean. However, it'sdefinitely showing it age an a little dingy. Food beat expectation. I had the grilled shrimp and the wife had the seafoodpenne. Both were good. Did feel overly expensive thought. Most everything was over $20. Beer selection was decent and fairpriced. Went here for the first time . The cocktails were good , the view fabulous ! I had the grilled fish , which was really good . My... daughter had the rice , shrimp , in cream sauce . If you want to eat here, call or go by at least the day before to make a reservation. You will not be able to eat there just by... showing up. We arrived for our reservation about ten minutes early and were brought straight to our table. The view from thetable was wonderful. The service was great as well. Drinks and food were all good. Overall we had a great time and it wasdefinitely our best dining experience on the island, if only they were able to get their wait times/reservation system a littlemore organized to allow more people to eat, it would be five stars. We saw many empty tables while we are, that were presumablysitting empty for later reservations but there were people downstairs waiting. It didn't seem like the best system. Read more
We got there to really enjoy the view but the seat was furthest from the window so seat at the bar. Our bartender was Ahke was... she was great. We went from it just being mom and I to a full bar corner party. The food was great too but the atmosphere wasbetter. Would recommend again. Read more
This place is a great place to eat. The location is on the Alabama historic registry since it was the Dauphin Island country... club in the 60s and 70s. The architecture was really cool and the views were amazing. The food was great. I added a pictureof the blackened mahi tacos. The portions were sized well and they did not skimp on the meat. If you visit, go to the topfloor and eat there... it is worth the trip. Read more
This place was recommended to me by a local. Boy, this did not disappoint! I had the Blackened Shrimp BLT with coleslaw and... fried okra. Amazing! ???? This sandwich was the best shrimp sandwich I have ever had. And this view! To die for. I went down andwalked the beach after my meal. This place is a must stop for Dauphin Island. I dined around 4:30 with no wait. I am told thisplace can get pretty busy later in the evening...so make your reservations! Read more
The food here is excellent. The atmosphere is great. The Service was also very good. If your on the Island and are looking for... an awesome menu, this is the place. I recommend the Royal Red Sautee. The menu has great variety as well. Read more
Loved the atmosphere! The service staff was helpful and our cups never were empty. We got to sit upstairs so we had an amazing... view of the island. My son got the fried shrimp (loved it), my daughter got the chicken tenders (loved it but a little chewy),my wife got the fried fish platter. She liked it but said the fish could be cooked a little longer. I got the fish tacos and aloaded baked potato. It was fantastic!! The pricing is a bit high but it is what it is. Everyone was nice and we had anenjoyable time! The tshirts were very expensive but the kids loved the ladders and the design is really cool!! Overall we had ablast!! Read more
