I've always enjoyed eating at Cracker Barrel. The food has always been good, fresh, and served at good temperatures (if not... hot). However today I was very disappointed with my order of French Toast. It was great before the pandemic. Today it wasthin, like squished white bread, dry, maybe a little burnt, and less than room temperature. I asked for another one. It wasexactly the same. I felt ripped off. In contrast, my husband's Catfish was served hot and tasty. I love browsing the "generalstore" on the way in and out of the restaurant. So much throw back candy and a variety of other interesting things to considerbuying. I used to enjoy a late breakfast at Cracker Barrel. I might have to reconsider. Read more
We were told by the server this chewed up frozen mess on a side salad was bacon bits. The manager took the salad off the check. ... I have visited cracker barrel many times and I feel as much as they try for consistency across their restaurants, they miss themark. The silverware is typically dirty, food comes out barely warm and service is lacking. Maybe I am just expecting to much? Read more

Great service and portions for a fair price. You come in through what seems like a gift shop before you reach the hostess... podium. Lots of tchotchkies and kitsch. Dollies, earrings, vintage gum, baseball caps. We were greeted right away and satimmediately. Our friendly waiter showed up in 5 minutes. The biscuits are soft and Fluffy, the cornbread moist and sweet. Thefried chicken platter is great for a mere $12 with mashed potatoesandgravy with string beans. I ordered the children's shrimpwith broccoli instead of fries. Great portion. Sweet sweet tea! I had to remove a star for cleanliness, sticky floors andtables, dirty menus, dusty walls. Read more
Service is good, but changes to the menu are terrible. Most breakfast used to include grits, now it is $1.99 add on side.... Portions are getting smaller, those 3 little bites in the photo are a side of hash brown casserole. We are all hurting thanks toour government's policies (both parties are useless), but I would rather pay more than get less for the same money. Read more
Unfortunately one of the worst experiences I?ve had in Florida for food! We got there about 7pm and as expected had a 25 minute... wait, which we were happy with, but once they called us through most of the tables were empty, so not sure on the wait. We thensat down and no one came and acknowledged us for another 20 minutes or asked if we would like to have a drink. We were lookingaround and a few other tables were constantly checked on to see if they would like drinks. We were about to leave and thenfinally the waitress walked over and asked for our order. Our food order took nearly 40 minutes and in that time a group on ourleft had come in after us, ate their food and had desserts before our main turned up. We discussed this with the manager at thetime and we just had the normal excuses of blaming their computer systems, but I don?t think a computer system affects yourcustomer service ability, we got offered a free coffee for our next visit but that won?t be happening as we aren?t comingback. *UPDATE* 2 days later and I?ve been sick for the last 2 days. My absolute Favourite Place in the Whole World!! My personal Favourite is the Mommas pancake breakfast, cup of coffee and a... large fresh orange juice. I love this place, the atmosphere is amazing, I love you can get fat eating your huge breakfast andthen go chill on the rocking chairs at the front to relax. Food is decent, service is good. We did come at a busy time, I ordered chicken & dumplings. They were decent, I did it with the... 2 sides (apples YUM & Green beans) and I couldn?t eat everything. I don?t recommend getting it with 3 sides unless you sharing.My sister ordered the roast beef. It was alright, she didn?t care for the gravy on it. She also ordered pecan pie with vanillaice cream. It fell apart when she dived into it & she didn?t really care for it. Read more
