The young cashier took our order. They were out of cold brew so we asked for two large iced coffees. Both with lite ice and one... with just a small splash of cream and the other black. The older lady then filled a glass with ice, I interrupted and said weordered lite ice. She then poured out half the ice, pumped coffee into half the glass, filled it with water and cream. We saidthat we wanted only a little splash of cream, not 1/2 a cup. She dumped out the glass and started over filling the glass withice, pumping coffee half way then putting 1/3 of the glass with cream instead of a splash. She seemed very put-out that she hadto do it over. We then said we needed our second drink. The older lady then did the same thing by filling the glass with ice andwatering down the coffee. Ordered an iced frappe, super delicious and smooth without that gross fatty film after a sip! Would definitely go back again!

This place is beyond enchanting! The atmosphere is light and aromatic as it is IN a nursery. The staff were kind and patient. My... Lavender latte was very delicious and so was my friend's London Fog. I had looked all over for Lavender syrup and was delightedto find it here. I will be revisiting very soon and hope to be able to spend more time there. Read more
Neat little coffee shop and bistro that is connected to a large garden center. We had sandwiches and drink that were very good.... One unique thing is that each of the sandwiches have names that don't really tell you what they are. For example, names likebarista which may be a bacon and cheese toasted sandwich. Review Date: April 10th, 2017 Aroma = Amora. Aroma backwards is Amora and Amora means ?love? in Spanish. I do love some good... coffee, but do I love Aroma? Yes. Aroma was fantastic. When driving to it, it was a bit hard to find due to it being tucked inwith a placed called The Green Thumbers, which is a pretty nifty gardening store in itself. So aside from being attached to agardening store, it is a full-fledged cafe/coffeehouse on it?s own. Upon entering, the staff was super nice and struck up aconversation and asked what I was doing today. Told them the boring part of my business reasons for being in the area, but alsothe fact that I like to try new coffee places while out and about. They offer a large variety of coffees, lattes, frappes,baked goods, sandwiches, salads and more. I ended up just getting a specialty drink called ?The Tuxedo?, which was hot espressoand milk with white and dark Mocha added to it. It sounded pretty good and it did not disappoint at all. In their display ofbaked goods, they had a chocolate peanut butter cookie that was calling my name? or my sweet tooth was calling for it. Eitherway, I requested that along with my coffee. The barista even offered to warm it up. I tell you, this may be one of the bestcookies I have ever had. I?ve had some of the best across Illinois, especially at Insomnia Cookies, and this place may rivalthem on the cookie level. The interior is very formal with out being too formal. It felt cozy but modern. Everything wasgray/white/black with nice furniture and some wall decor. But the best part? The two stuffed bears in there. One was about 5feet tall and there was a baby bear on the other side of the chair, holding a coffee cup. You can see them below. They aren?ttaxidermy bears mind you, but stuffed plush bears from the store it is attached to. Today we visited Aroma Coffee & Cafe. It was amazing ??. We ordered coffee and lunch. The coffee was a nice smooth blend, the... espresso was perfect. We both ordered 1/2 Salads w/ soup and hubs had sandwich. I can?t believe I forgot to ask what kind ofcheese came on the salad, bcz I did t recognize the name, and when she brought our food out I was horrified to learn it had bluecheese, which I am allergic to. I asked our server to clarify it was in the blue cheese family. She promptly went and made meanother one. I did not expect that, for it was my mistake. What wonderful people to do such a thing.
