My Wife and I were on our way to Iowa State and stopped for the night. Our Hotel front desk clerk recommended the J bar and gave... us drink vouchers. They were the best Cheeseburgers we have had in years! Perfectly cooked burgers and homemade fries. SPOT ON!I had buffalo wings as well and they were fantastic! Going to make every excuse I can to stop in Davenport. Looking at the menu,there is nothing I wouldn't love to try. Read more

First time at The J Bar - I really wanted the Sunday weekly feature which was Grilled Cheese and Chili, but the chili said... chipotle and I don't like hot things, so I was apprehensive to order it... but I really wanted it lol. The bartender, Judy,heard my dilemma and went and got a sample of the chili for me to try to make sure I liked it before I ordered it! I liked itand ordered it and meal was fireeeeee.
