I haven't been here for lunch in a while but it was nice not having a wait like there usually is for dinner. I ordered the... Salmon Fresca (the special of the day) which is on their dinner menu but the lunch was about half the cost. The lunch specialdidn't include the normal bread before the meal or the asparagus that I was really looking forward to (and that is included inthe dinner version) but they brought it out when I asked and it was cooked perfectly. VERY underwhelmed with this experience! Server (Noah) was polite, outgoing & professional. However, Noah forgot salad, offered... to bring with main course & well.... who wants a salad alongside an entree? beef may well be selected & aged but placing primerib on a griddle is unacceptable. I've never been plated a piece of beef that resembled more of a grilled cheese rather thanthat of presentable beef (especially "Iowa" beef). Requested horseradish & received sourcream with a hint of horseradish. Had toask for raw horseradish in order to compensate for back of house calling it in. Kids chicken "fingers" were a mere Gorden foodsfrozen mush. The ambience & decor screams delight but subpar servings & laughable plates cry for help. When a location requestspremium price one would expect a bit more. Thunder Bay is to an upscale menu as Taco Bell is to authentic Mexican???????. It waspalatable but wouldn't return. Read more
This is a nice midscale restaurant that is similar to an outback without the onion. Service was excellent. You get bread with... all means. The outdoorsy decor is fun. It has several rooms inside and ample parking outside. Everything was really clean.Prices are a little high with meals from 17 to 50 dollars per person. Hamburgers are really good with a wide choice of sides.Again, the best thing about this place was the service. Read more

Nice place to have good food drinks with a venue os out doors, prices were fair for what you got and the times we are in. The... service we got from our waiter was very good. I had the Buffalo meet balls and the salmon over Asparagus amd tomatos. It wastasty. The desserts were amazing as well. They do have a bar so pare it with your favorite wine. Read more

Seriously amazing food and excellent service. Very nice restaurant with intimate atmosphere. Accommodated our large group with... ease. Staff was very friendly and very capable of handling the large group. Dishes were unique with a wide variety. Everyone wetalked to in town said it was the place to go and they were right! Ordered the 51$ BUTCHER’S CUT BONE-IN RIBEYE Medium-Rare for takeout and once I got it home it was well-done. I expected to... get a refund/ equivalent store credit, but I was offered a 25$ voucher instead. Matthew Carroll was mostly pleasant to dealwith, but his slow response rate and the 25$ voucher is the reason I decided to leave this review.
