We visited on a Thursday evening for drinks and an app and were very underwhelmed. We got there about 15 minutes after they... opened and were the only ones there. Obviously the restaurant can?t control how busy it is, but it was extremely awkward asevery time we looked over, servers were just staring at us. The prickly pear margarita tasted like Vicks VapoRub and the quesowas just white Velveeta. I finally got around to reviewing Mestizo?s. I?m giving them 5 stars because they are very accommodating and do their best to... make your dining experience awesome. I didn?t have a chance to take pics. My mother in law was with me and she isn?t into thetaking pics thing. We shared a steak fajitas & enjoyed the mild salsa with the chips. The manager came to say hello. She wasso sweet. I?ll be back. I want to try more dishes. Update: Stopped by on July 22 for a late dinner after seeing a movie inBirkdale. From bland food to unfriendly service - there was next to no redeeming qualities about our experience here. We were really... hoping to find a great Mexican restaurant - but unfortunately the wait staff preferred to sit at the bar while the kitchenserved bland, room temperature food...even the soda ordered was flat.
