Showed up today (Saturday) at 2:15pm, the website shows they open at 2. The parking lot was empty. A gentleman came out and... stated they are not open to the public and you have to call ahead to make tasting appointments. As we were leaving out, we didsee a very small sign that says, ‘by appointment only’, this information would have been helpful if it has been on thewebsite. Read more

This was not a good experience. We had to pay a $25 reservation fee just to visit the winery and we had to wear masks unless... seated at a table even outside. Then the wines were average at best and extremely over priced. The staff was not welcoming andcould not have cared less that we were there. With so many wineries in MD and VA with good wines at reasonable prices and whoare gracious hosts, why would you go to The Vineyards at Dodon. Read more

The views are beautiful. However not worth$25 reservation fee to sit on a picnic table. They had a couple of decent wines but... very pricey. They do a flight for their tasting that are preselected wines the ones you don't taste are to expensive to take achance on. BTW, the $25 reservation fee is NOT credited to what you spend. I didn't feel it was worth the money for fair wines. Read more

The most lovely and beautiful gem. The rose is actually good (which is always a pleasant surprise based on VA wineries I’ve... been to) and the staff are superb. Regina was so hospitable and flexible with our no-reservation visit. Will be back again forsure! Read more
