First time trying this place. I stumbled upon it while I was shopping. I am not from Miami so I had no idea and gave it a try. I... was pleasantly surprised. A south Florida staple for the Biggest, the Best Sub Sandwiches, salads. Been around for over 22 years. Long lines move quickly... as meats are sent airmail to 4 or 5 Sandwich makers at the same time. Nothing presliced and rehandled here. You don't have tolook for the meat , it's put on twice. Always consistently great. The original location on University Drive in Davie and asecond location in Fort Lauderdale. Read more

I go out of my way - a thirty minute drive each way - just to get these subs. They're consistently delicious and the staff is... usually pretty friendly and outgoing. Not only that, but if you eat-in, they often put on a bit of a show, tossing meat from theslicer a few feet through the air to have the topping of meat caught and covering your choice of veggies and cheeses. I have been dining at LA Spada's subs for at least 20 years. Today I met a gentleman in the parking lot and I did not know that... he is the owner. Super nice guy.
