We had the Hawaiian Spicy Chicken rice bowl (chicken was absolutely drenched in too much sauce) and the Ahi Poke Bowl (bowl... needed something with some crunch). However, it was pretty tasty food!! Read more

Ordered from this place a couple times and it has always been a treat. Super fresh poke with fun ways of personalizing your bowl... (kali style, fire style, etc.). Generous with fish amount too; first time that I've had to actually dig in order to find therice layer at the bottom. Read more

A must eat in Davis. Our son took us here for lunch. This place took us by surprise how delicious their food was. Karage Bowl... was delicious. And the portion was huge. The Spicy Tuna Roll was also delicious. We will definitely be back for some poke nexttime. Read more

Really good poke here! I like the size and the fish doesn't taste all fishy. I got the traditional and spicy ahi tuna. Loved the... wanton chips too. ???? Read more

Good Friends Hawaiian Poke is a great place to get fresh poke in Davis. We stopped by here on a drive up to Reno and was... pleasantly surprised at how fresh the Poke was. The portions are large, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food isdelicious. Davis has come a long way since I went to college here back in 2006! I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in thearea. Read more

Came here for dinner, we ordered, a zesty salmon sushi wrap, a soft shell crab sushi wrap, chicken karaage, and a spam jalapeño... masubi. (Total was $53.53). The chicken Karaage was hot and crunchy and it comes with a Sriracha mayo, I felt like you neededmore sauce, so once we got low we stopped and saved it for later. We could have just asked for more, but i just wanted to moveon to the best part...the sushi burrito! (The image of the Karaage is about half the amount, as we ate half of it in thestore). The soft shell crab is my favorite! I added tobiko and jalapeño for texture and bite. My husband got the zesty salmon, and we traded halves. I definitely liked the flavor and texture of mine more. I think the zesty salmon was missing the zestpart. I was a little disappointed that the spam jalapeño masubi was only one, if you order from other places you normally gettwo... Other than that, you probably only need to order just the sushi burrito because I was very hungry, and wasn't able tofinish it because I was partially full from the chicken Karaage. Highly recommend! We went in the evening and arrived to find a very happening place. There was a line, but it moved quickly and staff were... friendly. I tried their zesty chicken bowl and the portion of chicken was generous, with enough sauce to coat the rice. Mangoesand edamame added the zest but weren't spicy so the flavors shone through. Ample indoor and outdoor seating was available. Alovely place to go for a filling, reasonably-priced meal! Read more

The poké was so delicious... Everything tastes fresh, well seasoned, the chips were crispy, the brown rice is nicely textured... (not too starchy, hard, or soft). All the different textures and flavours harmonize well together. The portion is quite generousfor what you pay. They also offer rice bowls, spam musubis, and various other items on their menu such as karaage chicken. Thestaff at the register during my visit was patient and super kind when I asked for suggestions on what to pair with my pokébowl, and she delivered!! Everything was on point. The spam musubi was good as well. The restaurant was very busy during theevening, and the seating arrangements are accommodating. I'll be back again :"D Read more
