This taqueria is in Davis, CA a block or so away from campus. It is popular. One of the cleanest, efficient, delicious... taquerias. I was surprised to see how quickly the turn around service was, because so many regulars came and went. While thebeer selection is limited, the menu is trim and fabulous. I had the shrimp and the fish tacos (both were street taco size) andthey were great; the pickled red onion garnish was a nice touch. If you eat meat, you?ve got to try the ?quesabirria? - acooked-to-perfection meat quesadilla served with a delicious beef broth based consommé. Yum, sooo good! Some people dip thequesadilla into it (like a French dip), but I simply had it as a side soup. Very good. There are vegetarian options too. Theplace is cute, centrally located and seems to be loved by locals, college students and tourists. We went during an insanely hot105 degrees day and the AC inside was refreshing. Read more
Really good barbacoa and al pastor! Perfectly juicy and tasty. Had the 3lb burrito and shared it with a friend. We were very... full at the end. Free chips and a salsa bar too. Extremely clean inside too. Huge recommend! Read more
My husband and I love our Mexican food. So you can trust us when we say the food here is amazing. We enjoy the complimentary... chip and salsa bar. I highly recommend any order with carne asada (steak). The side of guacamole here is also legit guacamoleand goes well with the free chips. They have a variety of drinks. Wow. I wish this establishment was around when i went to school here. Exceptionally clean restaurant with fast service and... delicious tacos at a fair price. Lively atmosphere given that is on 3rd st by campus all day and night til closing. Phenomenalbirria tacos that come with pickled onions as a palette cleanser and consumme soup to wash that tasty taco down. Savory streettacos that would skyrocketted my BMI if I was still around. I will definitely make the effort to stop by in town just to getthese tacos. Read more
Great experience! The food definitely hit the spot; street tacos are a must order. Really excited to try the breakfast and... explore the menu.. There're even vegetarian/ vegan options. Visiting from NY we were glad we happened upon this eatery. The food was absolutely delicious. The servers were attentive and... polite. The beers were tried were excellent. We loved the little salsa bar to have some chips while we waited for our food.Atmosphere was very inviting. Thanks for adding to our fun trip to CA! Read more
OMG! AMAZING! Food was off the charts! Some of the best tacos I?ve EVER had! Tried regular & street tacos. Top NOTCH! Chips &... salsa bar (free) was on point! Wow watermelon drink was superb!
