Went for buffet and they were very rushed, which I understand. Dinner cost $35 per person and was definitely not worth the cost.... There was exorbitant amount of dry, unappetizing rice. I’ve never eaten so little at a buffet before. It was not terrible, butdefinitely not worth $35 per person. It sucks because just a couple years ago this place was affordable with quality food Read more

I heard they recently opened back up for ayce, so I decided to go with a few friends to give it a try. This was my first time... eating out in Davis and my first time doing ayce in Davis, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The food was great, theservice was quick, and the workers were so kind! I'll definitely be coming back soon to do ayce again! Read more

I love sushi recently re-opened for dine in service a few weeks ago. The also recently just started the dine in all you can eat... option. There is Monday-Thursday price. And Friday- Sunday is a different price. They also have lunch buffet on weekdays. However the lunch buffet does not have sashimi. The food was delicious. The workers were very friendly and helpful Read more

Perfect place to get sushi in the night! Service was attentive and pretty quick even on a quiet night like this. They also have... quite the take out business too! The rolls were amazing like the davis roll and especially their golden roll which they deepfry! I can't say the same for the beef teriyaki dinner though... The beef tasted flat and the salad didn't have a nice dressingplus the greens looked like they were on their way out... I do like their rice though! At least the quality matches the pricefor the first time, probably one of the cheaper sushi places ive tried recently! Read more

Another one! And again, don’t bother. Places like this need to change their google business profile AND their website to... reflect that they no longer have all you can eat, a.k.a. AYCE. Unfortunately, this isn’t the only sushi establishment thatdoes this. If, according to your employees, you no longer do AYCE, then for your own sake of surviving in a saturated Sushimarket, don’t mention AYCE on your google business profile AND website. Read more

Unfortunately, it’s “Takeout Only”, they forgot something in our order, and the avocado in my rolls wasn’t ripe. I’ve... never had tough avocado in a sushi roll before. I ordered the Onion Blossom and Spider rolls. Onion Blossom was good despitetough avocado and the spider roll was disappointing. Read more

I live in a neighboring town and was looking for a place that makes Takoyaki and was super excited about finding this place.... Waited until I arrived before placing my order and it was nice being able to come home and my food still being hot. Ordered avolcano roll and some yaki soba on top of the takoyaki. All of it was super delicious! Very friendly staff and will definitelybe a repeat customer. Read more

Hands down, the best AYCE sushi in Davis! The fish is really fresh, which is my top priority at a sushi restaurant. I like that... they offer generous portions of sashimi and nigiri. The rolls are well crafted. The buffet style salad bar is a nice touch. Ithas some interesting seafood options like homemade octopus salad and seaweed salad. The price is comparable to other placesaround town. The staff members are also very friendly and accommodating. It's always a pleasant experience to eat there. Read more
