Good sandwiches but they are constantly running out of meatballs. I drive there from Sacramento and three out of four times I go... in they are out of meatball sandwiches. I tried calling ahead to reserve sandwiches but they will not let me put a sandwich onhold. Really disappointed in their customer service. Read more
Wonderful staff and an amazing assortment of Italian foods and deli selection. The sandwiches remind me of summers with my Nonno... and Nonna, making sandwiches with freshly sliced mortadela, prosciutto, salami, and cheese. I ordered one of their grilled paninis (the Siena) and I now see why this place is a local favorite. Fresh mozzarella, grilled... to a crisp, with meat specially cut for each sandwich. A great panini for a reasonable price (under $10). Expect there to be acrowd around lunchtime but the wait isn't too long. There's plenty of outdoor seating and staff wear masks. A lovely spot for ameal and to grab some Italian desserts too! Read more
Best sandwich place in Davis. If you're looking for a deli that cuts your meat for your sandwich when you order it look no... further. They have an amazing set menu but also if you want to build your own sandwich you can do that too. Pictured here is aroast beef with preccuitto on a soft roll with smoked mozzarella. So disappointed to leave this review. Normally the sandwiches are as close to what you?d expect in any average sandwich shop in... Italy, which is saying a lot. Today, a woman with multi colored hair made my sandwich. It came out soggy somehow with wiltedbasil. No love was in the sandwich. Eating the sandwich was a sad experience :( I?ll definitely return but whoever made mysandwich put no care into it. I gave half of my sandwich to a dog. Read more
