Wonderful atmosphere, great prices and delicious soup. I had the pastrami sandwich and black bean soup. I was not disappointed.... The pastrami was delicious and paired well with the deli mustard they use. The black bean soup was even better, especially withall the toppings. The employees were so nice and the owner/manager made sure he took the time to introduce himself and make suremy experience was a good one. I will most definitely be back. This is definitely the best restaurant in Davison, MI. My only complaint is that they're not open on the weekends. They have a... variety of sandwiches and soups offered daily (posted on FB around 11am), all of which have been excellent (on roughly 10visits). Their mainstay sandwiches like the Hibernator are also good, but I usually stick with whatever the special is. Read more
Very good food! I?ve been here before and everyone is so friendly and pretty fast. My only complaint is that I saw one of the... guys making the food did not having any gloves on, and being immunocompromised that did make me a bit scared. Overall, I will beback but I will probably ask if he can wear gloves while he makes mine. Read more
I?d been to Bear Soup Deli before, several years ago, and was relatively unimpressed. It was pretty early in their business and... I suppose I should have given them the benefit of the doubt, because unfortunately for me, I wrote them off and didn?t return.Luckily, I decided to return today and was proven a fool. I got a simple pastrami sandwich. It was delicious. The pastrami wasgood and there was a reasonable heap of it on the sandwich. The bread was toasted, and despite my fears of soggy bread when Iopened the package, it was still crisp and fresh, even after a car ride home. My only real concern is the wait time, but Ican?t even fault them there. I showed up almost right at noon, and they were busy preparing call-in orders. I think they got mysandwich out in a reasonable time, especially accounting for the fact there are only three of them behind the counter. And theywere all so friendly and welcoming that I can hardly fault them for a time issue. Just be aware, if you go around lunch, you?lllikely have to wait. But please do, it is worth it. It?s not often I?m proven wrong, especially about food, but I?m glad I wasproven wrong today. I will definitely be returning to the Bear Soup Deli. Read more
I have tried on numerous occasions to get food from this place recently. I love the food years ago. But they say there hours... close at 5pm. I show up at 445pm and the door is always locked already. Wish you would actually stay open till 5pm. Cause mywork hours I can't get there any sooner safely then 445p.m. Read more
