Always perfectly cooked fillet mignon with zip sauce to enhance the flavors. If you like calamari you have to try it here,... thick cuts with lemon butter sauce and capers. The stuffed salmon is also a favorite of mine. They got that good cheesy mac andcheese. The brussel sprouts that will make you want to eat your vegetables. There's usually a wait to get in but it's alwaysworth it! The appetizer Sampler is amazing. The chicken strips are delicious and the rib meat falls right off the bone. Read more
Best night ever! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary with dinner. Our waiter was amazing and truly a gem. Him and... my husband were bummed over the Lions football game earlier in the day. The food was also amazing, and I was so excited thatthis location had chicken tortilla soup on the menu still. The food is (normally) great and I love going to Lucky?s, but I?m probably only going to go to the Clio location from now on.... There?s a server at this location that is so painfully awkward and bad at serving I don?t want to risk sitting in her sectionagain. The first time we had her I assumed she had to be new simply because her demeanor was so painful. After having her acouple more times, I realize this is just how she is. She walks up to your table and instead of introducing herself or asking ifyou?d like something to drink she just kind of stares at you. We waited for such a long time for our salads because she decidedto bring out all the appetizers for her section at once. This resulted in some of us waiting 15 minutes, some of us waiting 8minutes, and some of us waiting only a couple minutes. Like every time we?ve had her, it took so long to get our food everythingwas a bit dry with a film on it. Being a server myself, normally I would understand it?s the kitchens fault, but it appeared asthough our food had been up for a minute and she just hadn?t brought it out. Every other server I?ve ever had at Luckys, thefood and service is amazing. This woman is just so uncomfortable, stiff, and behind all the time. Stopped by for a lunch today. Place was doing a brisk business and seated quickly. Server was very pleasant. I had the Monterey... Chicken ???? with fettuccine Alfredo. Both were very tasty. Sisters shrimp ???? cocktail ???? and prime Rib were good too. Alittle constructive criticism, my salad had quite a puddle of 1000 Island dressing on it, and sisters had all the Ranch dressingat the bottom of the plate under the greens. Good, but kinda weird. We also opted for desserts too. I got the Key Lime Pie andSis got the Chocolate Brownie Sundae. The Brownie Sundae was huge, enough for 2, and quite good i hear, bit the Key lime Pie wasfrozen, so I took it home to thaw, Next time we'll get dressings on the side. ???? Read more
Friendly atmosphere. We had a party of 9 and made a reservation ahead of time. Nick, our server, was amazing- very friendly,... attentive, and helpful. I ordered and recommend the Florida Mahi Mahi. It was delicious and filling (especially since it camewith two sides!). I chose the chunky potato soup and macaroni and cheese to accompany my meal. We definitely had leftovers. Mypartner ordered the crab stuffed salmon and he really enjoyed it. He chose brussel sprouts (sooo delicious!) and redskin mashedpotatoes for his sides. All in all we had a great time. Waited an hour to get seated. The hostess claimed she called and texted my number two times and I did not answer so they moved... on to other guests. It was cold outside so I sat right by the foyer the whole time. The saltiest steak I have ever tried toeat. I ate about five bites of a $30 steak. Tawny (I hope you get another server, she's not very good at this kind of work yet)the server couldn't care less than I didn't eat my food. I asked her for bread more than four times and we never got any. ThankGod I ordered a quesadilla because I at least ate something. Left with a bill at nearly $100 and I still wasn't full. Read more
Very busy place, nice Americana classic decor. We had a party of 8, our server, Alysha was on point. Made sure we had everything... we needed, and very helpful when asked about menu items. Excellent steaks, seafood, meats. Love the bread amd French onion soup too! Have dined here dozens of times past 10 or so years,... never a bad meal or service. If there's a wait they tend to over quote, so you are often seated quicker than expected. It's not'cheap' but you could easily spend more at chain restaurants and get less and far lower quality food.
