Home of the Sourtoe shooter. Something, I think, everyone should do when in Dawson. It's basically the price of a shot anyway.... We had dinner and drinks while we were there. I had the Chicken burger and fries, which was a nice chicken breast with bacon,cheddar and the usual fixins, along with fresh cut parm fries. My wife has a small order of nachos which was quite substantialand enough for a table of four. The food was good and the drinks were very reasonably priced. The Sourdough saloon is where you can do the toe shot! The bar has a really great balance of locals and tourists. The staff are... phenomenal! Make sure to go early (before 10pm) to get your name on the list for the toe shot - they will only do so many pernight and will cut it off at a certain point! Definitely an older bar so it is not overly glamorous inside, but this is allpart of the charm and the atmosphere! Read more
This 25 july i sit at a table. A young blond waitress rude and unpolite telling me i can t stay there and get out of the way now... ! The table was reserved . No cartons or anything to say it was reserved. There are ways to say it with respect and manners. Theonly person i ve met like that in Dawson. Everybody else very kind. Read more
What a great space and food! They need more help as all other businesses. The waitress was in great spirits even though she... was overwhelmed. You must do the sour toe cocktail challenge! So worth it! Highly recommended! Read more

This place is a must see place, the staff are wonderful people. They are known for there Sourtoe Cocktail, that entails a shot... of your choice(hard liquor), and a toe. Sounds gross, but it's not to bad, plus you get to say how you've done it. The bar has acouple games on the inside, and doors just like the olden days ! I had a blast everytime I was here, there was always somethinggoing on. Whether it be love music, karaoke, or people lined up from all over the world to take the infamous toe shot. Read more
