Okay, I used to eat here literally every single day. Some days I would eat here twice. The taste and quality of the food is... absolutely amazing. One of the best around. I would ask them how long it would take for my order to be ready. The answer wasalways seven minutes. I would get there and it would appear that that's when they would start cooking my order. Once they saw myface. I pulled the owner to the side and told him do not tell me 7 minutes if it's not going to be 7 minutes. Be honest with me.Tell me 33 minutes and I'll wait at home until it's time to drive to the Taqueria. When they were a truck the portion sizes wereabsolutely amazing. Once they got their brick-and-mortar, they raised everything $2 in price and got cheap on the portion sizes.Don't get me wrong, The Taste is amazing. My other problem was the inconsistencies in when they were open. I would go down thereon a Wednesday and there'd be a little handwritten sign saying closed due to family emergency. I believe a place should be openthe hours that they state on the hours of operation chart. This happened twice. I've never been back. Read more

I was a super-fan of this place, before. Unfortunately, I did not experience their food-truck set up before they had their own... place. But my regular visits, especially the ones recently, makes me believe they should?ve stayed with the truck. I?m keepingmy 5 star review on Yelp but leaving 2 on here. Long story short, they no longer give out elotés ? they now give you cannedcorn in a styrofoam cup. Additionally, if you call in an order, do NOT expect them to have it ready when you get there. In fact,your expectations should be lower to the point where they will make your order as soon as you are ready to pick it up. At leastthey gave me a cute lime. Read more
