Great service. The fried chicken and fried catfish were amazing. The bourbon selection was great. The only negative was hearing... a lady who was likely the owner, being a bit passive-aggressive towards the bartender in the presence of customers. That was amajor turn-off for my wife and I. If not for that, I would give it 5 stars. Read more
Great restaurant. Be aware that the food is on the pricier side, but from what we had it was worth it. Had the fried chicken... platter, which they note is their claim to fame, and it did not disappoint. Good selection of wine, beer, and bourbon. Servicewas great and the hostess checked on us as well. Walked in at 8:17 on a Friday, they advertise close at 9:00. I was told they were done seating for the night. For food I... assumed. Ok. Bourbon selection looked good so I asked if we could have a glass of bourbon at the bar (seats were available). I was told ?we are done seating for the night entirely?. Being new to town, I assumed they would welcome all the business theycould get. They must be doing well enough to turn people away already. Won?t be walking back anytime soon. Read more
We came here for the first time on Father's Day Eve. We were expecting to enjoy it.....but we LOVED it! My husband had the Cola... Ribs. He said they were the best ribs he'd ever eaten. I had the Shrimp and Grits. Divine! Couldn't pass up a dish with 'bacondebris' as an ingredient. Be sure to get the Coconut Cake. It's really a pound cake and possibly the best cake I've evereaten. My friend and I love this restaurant. We come monthly. Biscuits and bread pudding are to die for. The chicken and waffles are so... good. Had the shrimp and grits last night and they were so tasty. So glad they got a bigger place. Read more
We did a birthday / Mother?s Day celebration. Booked the private gangster room. Could not have been happier. The room and... ambiance was amazing. The service was superb. Food was some of the best we have had in Cincinnati. And drinks were spot on.Great job and we will be back. Read more
Stopped unexpectedly for dinner and it was delicious! We had the deep fried deviled eggs, shrimp and grits, and the pork... tenderloin. And we brought a dessert home. Huge drink selection and the wait staff was great! Read more
