I had the most excellent service here. The vegetarian dish was fantastic. Every item in the vegetarian platter was bursting with... flavor. The service was 5 star. I felt like I was appreciated and welcomed. It is their 43 anniversary today! Being open thatlong says something. Great experience will be back to dine in the inside patio! Read more

This is a nice place in West Carrollton. The prices are a bit high but the quality and the service kept up with it. We tried the... beef empanada and the crunch and the flavor on the empanada was amazing. I would get it again. We also got the coconut shrimpwhich was good. I got the Bierria tacos tacos, they were good but there was no soup accompanied by it. Their margarita was good.We also tried the deserts, flan was a disappointment I would not get it. But the crepes Argentinas was very good and the icecream had an awesome flavor. Read more
First time going to El Meson after hearing about it for years. Turns out El Meson means "the inn". Upon entering, the decor... surprised me, especially seeing the covered patio with the fountain - nice. I also noticed the restaurant is an oddly shapedhodge podge of different rooms. Had the shrimp chili rellenos, the calamari and my wife had the shrimp quesadilla. The maindishes were fantastic, better than expected, but that calamari.... I've just never seen calamari "sticks" before. Kind of likeformed mozzarella sticks, but rubbery. Not our thing lol. Will definitely go back for food though! ???????? Read more

I can't say enough about the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. This visit was my first time dining here and... I will absolutely be returning. The menu offers a lot of variety and a solid mix of staples and unique dishes. There are fullsize entrees and tapas as well. After trying to decide on what to order for a little bit (it isn't easy!) I made the choice togo with a dish I was familiar with. The humble cuban sandwich and eloté corn bites. Let me tell you, I haven't had a bettercuban sandwich in my life. The only one that compared was in Ybor city, Florida, the Cuban district. I highly recommend givingEl Meson a shot. I'm sure you'll be pleased. Read more
Always a great experience at El Meson. Our dinners were delicious and the Italian margarita was excellent. Best tapas in town.
