I use to work for a BBQ restaurant (14yrs) and always thought we were better than anyone, but I gave another BBQ restaurant a... try and I got to say it was DELICIOUS! The only thing I didn't care for was there bbq sauce, don't get me wrong it was good. Itried there Smoked Brisket and Chop Chicken and it was tender it just melted in your mouth. Wow! Today my spouse and I came to Fatbacks utterly exhausted from being teachers. The hospitality was amazing. As someone who... has been on the industry since 2014, my meal was made better by the owner and his mom being so kind. Chopped brisket ... Yes,yes and yes. The Mac is liquidy but liquid gold y'all! The roasted potatoes are so well seasoned. The cornbread is cake like andsweet but I like that style. The portions were big enough that I have lunch for tomorrow. The sauces were great too. The ownerhas done a great job taking this place over and we will absolutely become regulars. Industry tip: we went today on a Tuesday andit was quieter. Well worth the accidental trip down the wrong road. We seen this place stopped in for some grub. We were treated with a very... polite smile and hello. Curtis the owner is a really awesome guy, he told us about the restaurant and what pictures were hisfavorite. There is so much cool decor, even if you aren't hungry come take a look. If in town or looking for some good ''qstop on in, you won't be disappointed. I recommend the pulled pork. Read more
