I tried their Italian sub, and for me it was "OK", as in better than no Italian sub, but maybe not much better than the Italian... sub from subway. I do really like their a-la-carte pepperoni pizza that is kept in the pizza warmer on the counter. It is fast,easy, and taste great. Like all Dayton area Pizza places they have their own style, taste, etc. I haven't tried anything hereother than 1 Italian sub, and I've gotten the a-la-carte pizza twice. Look here y'all, this place is my number 1 pick in Dayton Ohio so far.... I had a bunch of food from here and I have never in my... life experienced fresher more appropriate ingredients... My sandwiches are arranged with pro-level confidence second to none...The spicy relish is abnormally good and a unique touch to any of the sandwiches... Potato wedges,ON POINT, crisp enough on theoutside to lead your palate to the heaven sent soft inside and seasoned to chef standards... I had flavors at every turnincluding their stock of Stewart's cream soda served cold in a glass bottle!!!! The 2 ladies who were working the front registerwere a joy with their knowledge and lightning speed with ANY info I needed about the menu or the restaurant as a whole... Withall of that being said this place even has dine-in to give you the realest Italian feel... Omg I almost forgot about thecheesecake!!!!!! Get a slice or 3 or be square???? Great pizza! I've been eating there since I was 12 and have never had a wrong or bad pizza.

Can't believe that I've lived in Dayton this long and didn't try Hogies until recently. The price was a little higher than one... of the chain stores, but it was well worth it! I don't mind paying for quality. It was not lacking on toppings at all, thecrust was not as thin as I prefer, but it was cooked perfectly and was nice and crispy. I'll deal with it being a littlethicker than I like if it's crispy. The cheese was nice golden brown. I stopped in on a whim so I didn't call call ahead and itwas rift at lunch time. I couldn't see the dining room because it was up a few steps. But from the looks of the parking lotthey had a decent lunch crowd and still managed to turn out a perfectly cooked pizza in about 20 minutes. Did not catch thegirls name that was working the cash register and took my order, but she was very polite. Over all it was a great experience andI'm looking forward to trying some of the subs and other menu items. Read more
