ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I had a scheduled catered order for a large event at Polen Farms. I verified the day and time on multiple... occasions with Mr Runyon and his asst who runs the catering side . The day of my event they were a no call no show. They told methey would be there promptly at 430 to set all the food up . This is unacceptable when I had a huge party to feed and theydidn’t even call to let me know they weren’t coming, which then left me not only to scramble up enough food to feed 100+people but also left me out hundreds of dollars for sides that were prepared to go with the chicken . I left numerous messageswith Mr Runyon and even contacted the owner Chuck And left a voicemail to get an explanation as to why they were sounprofessional and no one has called me back it’s been almost 2 weeks . This is HORRIBLE service . I did speak with the storemanager at Far Hills who obviously never let either of them no that I have been trying to reach them. I will say, the day of theevent an hour after they were suppose to be there to set up the food and my guests had already arrived, she did say she wouldcook all the chicken but I would have to leave my large party and pick it up and there would be no heating containers . Are youkidding me, and it was only AFTER Polen Farms contacted them about their no show no call . No business should be conductingthemselves in this manner, and to make matters worse Polen Farms has them listed as a “preferred” caterer and they chargeyou if you have someone cater your event that’s not on their list. I had a free birthday meal on the mobile app. App said to give the code on the screen to the cashier. Cashier asked the manager... how to put it in. Manager got an attitude and said that it has to be printed out and told me that I need to read the fine print.I read the whole thing again, and it says nothing about printing it out. All it does say is to give the code number to thecashier. I took a screenshot of the whole screen, but it will not load on here for some reason. I will not be returning to thislocation again. Wow what an awful meal! My chicken is drowned in green beans juices, how hard is it to drain them? Bag soaked and I am curious... very unhappy to have wasted my time and money. went there monday 6/14 approx 6:pm and my chicken dinner was the best ever from this location. food was great. crispy chicken... was just right, green beans and mashed pot w/ no gravy was yummy. sweet tea finished it off. the crew was very friendly. theyworked good together. your employees are your greatest asset. treat them right. this review was on 6/14/21. have been there anumber of times since then with mxed results. the last visit on 8/8/22 was horrible. i spent 26.79 for dried up chicken. thewings were inedible. the rest wasn't much better. i was very dissapointed. the service was great. the food, not so much. seemsit always hit or miss with this place. will visit again soon but i'll have to talk to the mgr first to make sure it's fresh andi shouldn't have to. hope you're seeing this chuck well, an updated review. vivited this lee's on 9/9/22. waited 20 minutes fora fresh batch of chicken.
